I went here about a month and a half ago...
I didnt really like it.
I didn't like the music, there were hardly any good looking guys there, it was small and cramped.
Its not all bad, i mean the the bouncers were lovely, they let us in for half price, but i wouldnt go back here.
what a waste of money! the drinks are (at best) average and the music is just embarassing. i completly agree that the bouncers are unfriendly and it gave the place a really bad vibe. if they got rid of the rude security guards it cud be quite gd. but all in all a place to avoid.
Don't go to this bar! the drinks are really over-priced and the bouncers are incredibly rude. i heard one bouncer referring to a group of passing young girls as 'f***ing s***s' and the overall atmosphere was really unfriendly.
At first I wasn't really impressed with the venue I must admit(bit small). If it weren't for the crowd, cool vibe, really nice people or the bar staff(the most fun I've come across by far)then this review would be a bad one like the one I'm going to give Rainforest cafe - crap crowd, crap ticket staff, crap vibe. Crap crap crap. Oxygen on the other hand is a small little club that at first you think; hold on ain't this a pub?? No, no you go down a couple of stairs and there's a crowded dancefloor and people dancing on top of the bar, my cousin being one of them! Feeding off the vibe and the good music I had a whale of a time..Yay Oxygen.
Tucked away I found this place to be a absolute gem! What really makes it, are the people that work there and the people that go there. They were by the nicest I have met in a while. The bouncers were great and on the ball at all times and I had a great time dancing on the bar!
We went here last monday expecting a quiet night but it was really busy and we had the best night out in ages! The sexy security guys were so friendly-they let us in free and were joking with us all night, the barstaff were up dancing on the bar and really enjoying themselves-it really added to the atmosphere.Drinks were only 1.50 so we spent hardly any money and we met some really cute guys-a miracle in Leicester square! We´ll definitely be back!!!
good average place, for hving a drink and for a paceful dance as well, ppl are really really nice
Fantastic bars and ridiculously cheap cocktails for central London, jugs for under £15 and really delicious. Stayed there 10-3 and had a brilliant time, the club is a bit small and smells a little funky but past about midnight everyone is having such a good time you don't notice. A mixed crowd with a lot of skeezy guys in the early part of the evening but overall a really good venue.
This place has changed alot, it looks so good now and the cocktail list is HUGE! The funky house is really good and new unlike any other in leicester square! Took a while to get served but that was because it was so busy! Staff were friendly till the end!
Come 12....... I dont remember much so it must have been good!
LOVE it! the music is good, RnB, Old skool, Hip Hop, Pop. Waitresses are nice, you get served quickly and the atmosphere is always hyped!
Went for a drink last night at Oxygen and really enjoyed the experience. Very sexy waitress and good cocktails. Music was a little too loud in the early part of the night. I would go back for sure.
Oxygen's a pretty modern bar that's good for a few drinks on a night out. You probably wouldn't want to stay there the whole evening as it's quite pricey and it doesn't always 'get going'.
Quite often head to Oxygen for a few then move on elsewhere.
I would call Oxygen more of a club than a bar, because the atmosphere is kind of impersonal. But then we did have a pretty good time. The staff were nice and the drinks weren't too expensive for Leicester Square. I would go back to Oxygen for definite, but more for the music than anything else.
