The ViewLondon Review

A brand synonymous with sexy and cool, Pacha London offers a touch of Ibiza in the heart of London as part of clubland's most glamorous franchise.

The Venue
Pacha London oozes glamour from every corner. Gorgeous marble pillars stretch up to the immaculate stained glass ceiling, while oak panelling adds elegance and warmth that most clubs could only dream of.

The main room is well sized and plays host to a couple of podiums, frequently occupied by a variety of exotic dancers. A good-sized dancefloor means plenty of room to move and there’s a fair amount of seating round the back for when your legs start to tire.

Venture up one of the many marble staircases and you will find an extensive balcony giving a fantastic view of the action downstairs, along with access to the second room. Slightly darker, yet equally alluring, the back room is smaller, providing a more relaxed and chilled area. With an assortment of furniture from beds to sofas, this room becomes very popular towards the early hours of the morning.

The Atmosphere
Whilst the decor is immaculate, the atmosphere needs work. The venue is glamorous and the punters try to be, but many are so concerned with image, they forget to let their hair down. Pacha London brings all the image of Ibiza, but misses the passion for clubbing that many of its rivals achieve.

The Music
The big names in house frequently roll into Pacha London, with the likes of Hed Kandi and Ms Moneypenny staging regular nights hosting the cream on the world's DJs. An awesome sound system and a good music policy means funky house and disco will have you dancing all night long.

The Drink
There’s a good selection of drinks and plenty of bars to buy them, but you pay for the privilege with the cheapest beer at £4.50 a bottle. Spirits are in abundance with almost all of your favourites on offer - its just a shame the price shocks even the most extravagant of socialites.

The Last Word
Pacha London is a gorgeous venue and truly excels in offering glamour, glitz and cool. The music is good, however prices are high and image is everything. Catch the right night and you can be sure of a belter, just make sure you don't break a sweat.
