my friends dragged me along here and it really wasn't my cup of tea. music was good but i just felt there was something missing, i want to say the word fake as that seems alittle harsh. maybe the fact pacha is so hyped about it didn't live up to my expectations.
I have been to the club several times and it was cool, nice music and good crowd mix. However, their bouncers are very arrogant and most recently they randomly allow entry to some and refuse others on the basis of "no singles allowed". I understand they need to choose and manage a good mix but when the process is random and depends if the bouncer is in a good mood or not. I got in on Friday and was refused on the Saturday by the same boucner !!
i've read about this venue, they've talked good about the club so me and my boys went to give it a visit, we we're expecting a hot club but when we get their, DAMN!, we didn't expect it to be that good!Man we we're blown away, we really dont know about the average english standards but we really do think this club right here is one of the best clubbing venues of london, great venue, hot penetrating beats, hot girls we couldn't have asked for more! thumbs up!
Pacha London was the best night out I have had in a while and the club really took me by suprise. I have been to Pacha before but it was sometime last year, and when I came back for my second apperence only a few weeks ago the whole atmosphere of the club had changed in a brilliant way. The club looked spec, the music was wicked and the people were sweet. The only bad thing I can say about pacha is that the drink prices are far to high. But other than that Pacha Rocks.xxx
I was there last friday 29th with my friends and had a great night, though we expected the venue to be bigger, is just the main rectangular floor and the little one upstairs.
The music is great and people are friendly in general.
The decoration was superb.
I have heard alot about Pacha changing in the press so i thought i would head down there and check it for myself it was my girlfriends birthday aswell so got all our tickets, there was about 15 of us so i thought there might be trouble on the door but no hassel what so ever straight through and on to the bar. The music was perfect nothing to heavey early on so could get into the swing of things and by the time 5am came round I couldnt believe how quick it had gone. Top, Top club
We were actually looking for a hen night venue and stumbled across the Pacha website. Reviews were pretty good and the music blaring out of my laptop made us reminiscant of our clubbing days, so we took ourselves off there last Friday.
Pacha sells itself as being ultra glam and funky without the pretension you expect from most clubs. Well, I will say pretension was low on the scale... As for glam? Errr..Unless you think that wearing your sunglasses in a club equals Glam, I'd say not!
Overall though had a good night, met and danced with nice people. The venues nice, for those that remember the old SW1 club this is the same venue and it hasn't changed much! Good tunes, but Personally I would have liked a bit more of the uplifting happy ones.
An enjoyable Friday, but hold on to your drinks. The minute you put them down they either get pinched or get knocked over and smash !
I went to Pacha on Friday night. I haven't been out clubbing much lately but fancied a blast from the past. I was a bit concerned that I might feel out of place but there was a good mix of people and this was not the case.
As for all the hype about it being highly glam and stylish I wondered whether I went to the right place or perhaps it's just that I don't have a discerning eye for these things; quite a few guys in pork pie hats and a few people in sunnies was all I noticed. As well I think I would have liked the music to be a bit more funky. Anyhow it is still a good place to party.
I think Pacha London is one of the best nights in London if you love getting all dressed up, listen to funky electro house music and mix it up with the glamorous London crowd.
If VIP is your kind of thing, Pacha ticks all the right boxes. I don't think I have ever been treated so well in all my life. Pacha really is my kind of club.
I don't know why everyone compares Pacha to other clubs...all are different and I think its good that Pacha doesn't try to be like Fabric, the Cross, the Egg etc...It just wouldn't work.
I went for the first time on 30th July and it was amazing! It was so good to get dressed up with the girls, the men were so good looking, the music was fun and uplifting and the staff were shockingly nice! I just can't fault it!
Will definitely be back!
I went to Pacha for the first time on Saturday 5th of May. A friend of a friend was DJing so we bought our tickets online and were looking forward to the night. The tickets had over 18s printed on them but when we got there I was told I could not go in as I am 19! They told me it was over 21s and always has been. I did not know this but the fact is the tickets we bought stated it was over 18s. I pointed this out to bar staff and still they refused me entry, telling me there was a printing error and basically it wasn't their fault.
They also refused us a refund saying that as the tickets were bought online we had to go back online and get our money back that way. We'd driven up from Kent which takes a good hour so we lost a lot of time, money and petrol because Pacha printed their tickets wrong. The door staff offered us no apology, we couldn't see the manager because the female member of doorstaff we dealt with, Did not know where to find the manager! Unless Pacha compensates us for our loss we'll never be back.
Not what one would expect from Pacha. This is a place to strut around in suits and stilletos, and can't hold a candle to its Ibiza counterpart. I came expecting a rave and what I got was a pretentious club with clientele who haven't a clue about proper clubbing or good music. Think Cafe de Paris with a marginally better music policy.
Last night I went to Pacha London for the first time. I was quite surprised that they let everybody go inside and didn't even bother to check IDs. They checked our bags and took my medicine, and promised that I'd get it back at the end of the night. But they lost my medicine and the doormen were so ruse! We were waiting for the manager to get my stuff back, but they just threw us out.
I was really disappointed about that, but generally the night at Pacha London was really good - lots of people, nice music, cute guys. The night was great!
Why do people compare Pacha London to the other elite dance clubs in London? Turnmills, Cross, Egg, and especially Fabric can wash the floor with this place. It's all city boys and escort girls that look to get free drinks. The music is minimal Euro house and the people dancing are dressed to OTT for a real dance venue.
And why the hell would bouncers turn you down if you are dressed too casually? Pacha London is a freakin dance club, not Mo*vida!
I went to Pacha London for New Years Eve as part of all inclusive Hotel and VIP entry. They totally cocked up everything from the start and didn't even bother to get in touch to let us know the hotels had changed, and there were no cabs etc, etc.
There was a very rude guy at the club who was more intent on starting a row than sorting out the problems. Pacha London was totally amateur. I won't bother going again and I'm sure I'm not the only one!
I thought Pacha was awsome. Yes, the security was strict but I see that as a good thing. Clubs are really only bad or good according to the people. There were plenty of bar staff, the podium dancers were sweet and when all those streamers came down from the roof ... woooooah. Pacha London is an awsome club, which is so worth paying that little bit more for.
I planned for five of my mates to come up from Brighton to go to Pacha London as it was my birthday. I managed to get us on the guess list, but when we arrived we all got turned away. The woman with the American accent at Pacha London has a massive chip on her shoulder.
None of us were drunk, we were just typical girls going out. This is so typical of security staff, with massive egos. They were so up them selves. I was very very disappointed.
Went to Pacha last night, and we hade a blinding night. I wish I was still there, I just didn't want it to end. The Pacha staff were cool and there was a really good crowd and vibe in the main room. Scotty Giles - you are the man!
The music at Pacha London deserves 5/5 as the DJ was absolutely fantastic. But the drinks and cover charge were a bit steep. The crowd at Pacha London was generally friendly and there were some pretty fit guys, and most people were well dressed and well behaved.
However, there were numerous incidents of people inadvertently spilling drinks on my expensive clothing and stepping on my little feet and I was not convinced that security inside of the club was doing a fantastic job in dealing with the one off incidents of antisocial behaviour.
Pacha London was absolutely fantastic. I had a real good night out, with good vibes and a great atmosphere. Drinks are standard London prices.
Pacha is 21s or over which makes it better. This with so many beautiful women, my goodness! I'm definitely going back again.
Dirrrrty Night at Pacha London - wicked night. On the expensive side for a night out but well worth it in my opinion. There was great music and a great crowd of gorgeous young people.
I love, love, love Pacha, although I'm suspicious of all those people wearing sunglasses. I just love the music and I love the fact that it's open till 6am so I can get the train back home. The staff are so friendly, had a good laugh at Pacha.
Billed as one of London's plushest and most-welcoming clubs, Pacha London was the most disappointing experience I've had clubbing in the capital.
The doorstaff were perfectly pleasant however, once you got past the front door, (into a gorgeous venue) things were a different story. The cloakroom attendants were disorganised and rude. The bar staff couldn't be more bitchy if they tried. The drinks were expensive and weren't even good - the only affordable drinks were bottled beer (poor selection of Stella and little else) and glasses of wine I wouldn't put on my chips. The wine cork flaked into my friend's glass and the idiot of a barman put a spoon in and started fishing the flakes out instead of pouring her a new glass from a new bottle.
The music...well the less said the better I think. It was piss poor Euro-house-lite shit that managed to clear the dancefloor. Five years ago, the biggest bands and DJs played at Pacha London - nowadays you'd be lucky to get a bedroom JungleRaver in!
Pacha London charge £15 on a weekday night for one hour of pretention. I'd rather get my kicks from Fabric, if that's OK with you.
I went to Kinky Malinki's night at Pacha London. It was crap. I paid £20.00 to get in and it was half empty.
I would never go to this event again, it was a waste of my time and money. Overall I think Pacha London is blinding on other nights like Head Kandi and that. It's what you make it girls and boys.
Well the door staff at Pacha London are an absolute joke. They seem to think they're celebrities but don't they all? It's not anything like a club on the scale of a place like Fabric but it was a friendly crowd and didn't take long to get served at the bar at all.
Pacha London is good if you're in a group of friends because it's hard (but not impossible) to get lost. I loved the music and danced for hours - it's all about going upstairs.
I eventually managed to get tickets for Pacha London for the Defected In the House night with my boyfriend and three friends.
I was looking forward to that night and was very excited.
Well, I have to say it was very disappointing! The place itself is really nothing special. I was expecting a nicer club. Not my target of people. Drinks very below average. But the most disappointing thing was actually the music. Boring, boring, boring.
My boyfriend and I left Pacha London after only one hour and went to The Fridge where we had a lovely time.
Pacha London is a nice venue, but be prepared to wake up with a nasty taste in your mouth. Far too expensive, unfriendly, up-their-own-arse door staff (no surprise there) and a real lack of an 'up for it' vibe.
I will avoid Pacha London from now on, and I would advise any proper clubbers out there to give it a miss too. This club is made for league 2 football players who are visiting London.
Not impressed. Having waited in a queue of about 15 people for nearly 2 hours (admittedly, turned up around midnight), was horified to watch two seemingly well-dressed and sober poor buggers get turned away by security when they got eventually to the head of the queue.
No queue/security management (just egos) to speak of whatsoever, which put a bit of a downer on things straight away.
Pacha London is very expensive for what it is, including entry and drinks. Did not pick up a very good vibe inside and left after an hour.
Pacha London is only really worth wasting an hour of your time if you want to see how it should not be done at the door. The list-holder in the 'power-coat' is particularly laughable.
Pacha London is an absolutely fantastic club to go to. It's not too big, and the music is awesome.
I went to Pacha London on 11/11/05 with my girlfriend and her mate and we all agreed that it was probably the best night we'd had in London.
Ever.
I am seeing a lot of people complaining about the cost to get it, which is a ridiculous thing to say. There are dozens of crappy bars and clubs in London that charge £8 to get it and you will have to ensure that you get drunk to have a good time, because once inside, those other places are diabolical.
I don't drink alcohol which saves me a lot of cash, but and the end of the day you pay for what you get, and Pacha is a club for the more discerning clubber. We paid £10 to get in. Which in my mind, is totally fine.
Pacha was colourful, loud, trendy, the music was spot on and the air conditioning was ace! The crowd were all friendly and happy and beautiful. The only exceptions were a few city boy losers... which I imagine wouldn't be there on a a Saturday. (We went on a Friday).
If you want the best, then Pacha London (in my humble opionion) is it.
Pacha London is a perfect venue, I think. You have got a big dancefloor in the main room and a smaller, more initimate room for harder music with space to crash out.
Pacha London is stylish without being too posey like Funky Buddha type venues. This is definitely more of a social place rather than hardcore raving but at the same time if you do want to just have a dance it's wicked.
You can go over the top and dress as sleek as you want without feeling OTT. I've been to Pacha London quite a few times and the music on the night is always down to what promotion you go to.
Kinky Malinki is very good but my best night was on a Halo promo - the music was wicked, funky house, slightly harder than your typical commercial stuff and it was just amazing. The crowd in Pacha London is good - posey and fun!
Pacha London is a place to be seen if that's what you're into. I was very disappointed with the overpriced entrance fee and the drinks. Pacha London is full of posers and girls throwing themselves at rich old men.
I expected to be surrounded by people who were there for the music and I expected there to be great music. Unfortunately Pacha London had neither. I'm going to stick to Fabric.
I arrived at Pacha London looking forward to experiencing what I had been led to believe was one of the best clubs in London. Initially I wasn't disappointed, the surroundings are nice and it only took about twenty minutes to get in.
However, over the course of the night my opinion changed. I got sick to death very quickly of the music as it is repetitive and lacks any real creativity. The people start the evening being very friendly but that goes downhill rapidly, the only thing the vast majority of them are interested in is something other than the music in my opinion.
The drinks at Pacha London are massively overpriced as is the door charge. Honestly, if you are thinking of going there this weekend - don't. There are better clubs than Pacha London in nicer parts of London.
Pacha is an absolutely fantastic venue and has great music. A really top night out at the Glitterati night was had by me and 9 mates. A night I will remember for the rest of my life. Wicked.
Pacha is a beautiful club for beautiful people. Prepare to dress to impress at this place. Expect the prices to be high but not so ridiculous in this straight off the station platform Victoria club. The venue is very laid back and stylish with low lighting and a large dancefloor and balcony area. Ultimate posers should visit in a big group and club together for a VIP table with waiter/waitress service, (and bouncer,) just off the dancefloor or upstairs.
DJ line ups are fantastic and if you don't already know the music style, you will love it when you leave. Very cool, very trendy, Ibiza-esque fun-house!
Me and my friends went to Pacha on a Kinky Malinki's night and we thought the venue was fantastic, good crowd and excellent DJ's a good night was had by all!!!!
