4 b-52 shots in this place cost about 50 pounds with service...! it is exorbitantly expensive and classless...avoid. only positive is that the interior is very well done.

Yes, it's true that Paper is not as stylish as Movida but everytime I went there I had a blast. Music is great and every single time there were men dancing around me which is what is important. If u'r a good-looking girl u will get attention and that is what most of us are looking for I suppose. Compared to Maddox or Movida this is a lower-level club, definitely but I think that people are more friendly and u can have lots of fun.

Almost the most ridiculous place I have ever been. Unlike Umbaba and the like it manages to be really expensive without any element of class.

We were (as everyone else seems to have been) held on the door whilst they "tried to find us" on the guest list... assumably a ploy to see if you're attractive enough to enter - this becomes ironic and slightly insulting once you are inside...

We had booked a table, at which we weren't allowed to order single drinks or cocktails and VAT was added onto everything you bought on top of the menu price. Despite having a credit card behind the bar to cover the minimum spend we were constantly harassed by the staff to spend more. The staff were then rude and challenged one of the group up in the corridor until he paid for the table up front. They "lost" the credit card of the girl whose birthday it was, refused to take names for the guest list then refused to let people in because they weren't on it.

This place was overpriced (we know how much a bottle of Grey Goose costs, give us a break), pretentious and rude. People cared about where they were and who saw them not having a good night out. If you love Space Ibiza you will hate Paper, it could not be further removed from what having fun should be about.

Went to Paper for a friends birthday. Saw Nadine from Girls aloud looking really self-conscious and a couple of other z list. The place is full of wannabies and drinks are expensive! Bar tenders like to add the "sevice charge" to a double costing me £10! A bit boring to be honest.. wanted a good laugh with the girls, but no hot men and lots of bitchy girls..

I went to Paper last Saturday after my feet turned into iceblocks waiting to get into Embassy. Girls - if you're looking good, approach the guys on the door and you'll probably breeze through and get comp entry! ;-) Its a lively club, mixed music. Played some excellent hip hop after 1pm. Man-wise, it's a no-no girls. Message to club:get some cute guys in and us ladies will flock! Not one bit of eye candy all night. But the music was still great and drinks were flowing from those promoter guy-groups!! I'd go again if I was stuck for options. Which means I probably won't be going back sometime soon.

6 of us went here on saturday, equal amount of girls and guys! it was a friends birthday and we were on a guestlist but not quite sure which one so we asked them to look for our names, when i asked the promotor politely if we could have a quick word he looked at me and my friends and said to his colleague "no", bearing in mind we were all wearing dresses and the guys were wearing shoes and shirts!!! when one of our friends came out the club to tell us the guestlise name, that he had just used 30 mins ago to get into the club. when we told the promotors the guestlist name, they said " sorrry that guestlist does not exist"!!!, this was a load of rubbish because he had just used it to get in!!!

Paper is definately an experience.
What can I say? The staff are polite enough, the music is really fantastic, and the surroundings are gorgeous - if a little cramped.
The real problem I have is with the crowd.
These so called 'celebrity' clubs market themselves as having 'class' and only letting in the 'best of the best'.
I could quite clearly see that was not true.
If these places want to be taken seriously they need to start turning away undesirables - pronto.
