I was very disappointed with the Peacock bars service when arranging a booking for valentines day for my partner and I. We got in touch with the peacock bar over a week and a half ago. We had to email twice and phone 3 times! We were told the only way to book was by email which would of been fine except that no one responded to them and when we got through on the phone the guy just said he was 'behind' but would be in touch. After hearing nothing we spoke to someone again (2 days) before valentines day!) and were rushed off the phone and told they were fully booked. This was really bad service and left us limited time to
make other arrangements! Very disappointing first communications with this bar. If we had of had a booking this would of been my deciding factor as to whether to use them for my 30th but as communication was so poor I would have concerns about spending money and pre-arranging anything with this bar now.
I had the Best Hen do last night here ever! The staff are friendly, helpful and laid back and the atmosphere is lovely- everyone was up for a laugh. The entertainment is good- awesome poledancer. Can't recommend it enough if you want somewhere fun, lively and friendly. I was a bit skeptical about this place after reading the reviews but they are nothing like the experience I have had when I've been there and this is the 3rd time. Each night there has been brilliant so really recommend it
Genuinely awful. I cannot recommend you save yourself from this experience enough. we went here last night for the £19 3 course dinner and burlesque show. what we got was enough deep fried finger food to feed a four year old between the 5 of us which arrived over the course of 3 hours. The burlesque turned out to be one woman miming bad karaoke, and felt more like 3pm entertainment at an OAP home for war veterans. The manager was extremely stressed, and when I complained I had to wait in a complain queue before getting to her and feeling too sorry for her to really complain as much as i would have liked. The evening was completely missold and mismanaged, they knew before the evening the number of people eating and they had clearly just not brought in enough food to cover the number of people, that or one of their microwaves had broken and they couldn't heat up the precooked cheap battered food. We ended up leaving and going to eat somewhere else. Such a shame, as we were all really looking forward to it. I am still a little dumbfounded they had the gall to take our money.
I Recently celebrated my 30th birthday here,and WOW!! What a night,absolutely brilliant!
Everything from the lead up to the celebration-Karl is a 'star' and never fails to keep you feeling reasurred,(safe hands to be in when planning a big celebration!) to the friendly staff, great food and fantastic entertainment, they have an 'in-house' photographer which is fab! so nice to know that you dont have to spend the night worrying about taking pictures,as they seem to capture everything for you (and so well) and best of all, pictures are free to view online (not trying to cash in like many other venues!)
A real hidden gem in the heart of the city!
we are now planning our next celebration in order to return...so far 'payday' is our only excuse!!
Peacock bar-YOU ROCK!!
Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou

My fiancee and I had an excellent time at Peacock Bar for our engagement bash. We booked their cordoned off area on a Friday night complete with its own bar & bar staff and we treated royally. Everything from the shows to the cheesy disco after was spot on. However what really made our night special was the ever attentive staff and wonderful party atmosphere. We shall return.
New Years Eve at the Peacock Bar 2011 was absolutely fantastic. The staff were amazing, really friendly and incredibly helpful throughout the entire evening. The food was perfect and my friends and I had such a wonderful time.
NYE can often be quite a disappointment but the Peacock bar was anything but disappointing. I would highly recommend this bar. Great party atmosphere, perfect for a special occasion. Thumbs up! :)
Ahh, Peacocks. I love this place. I first stumbled upon it when I was looking for a great venue with a difference for my 30th. I was planning on going to Vegas, but realistically I managed to bring Vegas (sort of) here. And my 30th was absolutely amazing (albeit, I can't remember much, but it was!).More recently, however, I had to organise our team Christmas party and I thought what better way of doing this than an easily locatable venue that encompasses cocktail master class; so I went with Peacocks again. Again, I was not disappointed nor failed - having Karl (bookings manager) at your fingertips made it so easy. Great guy and always quick to come back to you. Winner (thanks Karl!).We had the very lovely Mikey be our trainer in the cocktail making and it was so much fun, our team managed to mingle and socialise with one another moreso than on a regular basis and making the cocktails were just great (even if everyone thought my mai tai looked like pond water, it was good!). French Martini much have been my fave though!I highly recommend Peacocks for a night out - the food, atmosphere, service, entertainment and drinks are superb. Massive thanks again to both Mikey and Karl for their efforts.
The peacock bar was a google find for our xmas party from work. Having looked for somewhere to accommodate for a large party, the peacock bar sounded like the place to go, where by we could get food and entertainment and have a good old dance to see the night in :)
The staff and service within the bar could not be faulted everyone was friendly and helpful, a fun place to go and be for the night...am defo going to plan another few visits to the bar..they haven't seen the last of us...lol
Would recommend it all my friends.
