The ultimate picnic comes to London with the Subway Picnic Rocks London event.

The lineup
Subway Picnic Rocks is set to take place at Clapham Common on Saturday 5th July, with live music, free food and a fantastic atmosphere for all who attend. With all proceeds from the ticket sales going to Action Against Hunger, you will be contributing to a great cause while you enjoy a great picnic in the sunshine.

London will be ready to rock out for the day as the picnic party brings you the best in live music from the Clapham Common Bandstand. Participating Subway Picnic Rocks London musicians will be adding to a great day of entertainment as you catch all the bands and enjoy the sunshine.

Live entertainment
There’ll be live music from indie band The Holloways, and singing sensation Amy MacDonald whose number 1 album has caused a sensation in the music world. Joining them on the Subway Picnic Rocks stage will also be The Metros and The Noisettes who will add their unique sound to the party proceedings.

Fighting world hunger
All proceeds received from the Subway Picnic Rocks London event will benefit Action Against Hunger, an international humanitarian aid relief charity that works with over 40 of the world’s poorest countries whose food resources have been damaged by wars and natural disasters. The charity brings food to malnourished children and tries to help the population maintain their food supply and become self-sufficient.

Subway Picnic Rocks London takes place from 12pm on Saturday 5th July 2008 at Clapham Common Bandstand. Nearest tubes: Clapham Junction.

Subway Picnic Rocks London tickets are £14.50 and include entrance to the event, live music entertainment, a free six inch Subway Summer Sub, and free picnic blankets for the first 1,000 people.
