In the last six years Plan B has welcomed everyone from Mark Ronson and Danny Krivit, to Hot Chip and The Streets, via the likes of The Mighty Boosh, Rob Da Bank, Goldie and, of course, Norman Jay through their front doors, keeping Brixton on the map and giving South Londoners a decent night out pretty much every weekend.

So to celebrate they are throwing a weekend long party

Hosted by their long time Friday night heroes from Fidgit, the first night of the weekend long party features De La Soul DJ extraordinaire and the most cuddly man in hip hop Maseo brings his legendary record collection to Plan B. Trust us he has still got the skills to pay the bills!

Support on the night comes from Fidgit regulars J Bold, Dixon Brothers, D Boogie and Kid Who, with the likes of Big Time Players and Oh Death playing breaks, beats, bass and baltimore classics in the basement.

Most of you are going to be more interested in the line up for the Saturday night, as we have managed to persuade our good friends Basement Jaxx to come and play a few records.

This is pretty much the only chance to see Basement Jaxx before their international tour next year.

Support on the Saturday comes from long time Plan B lover Adrian Blunt, Canadian boy wonder Jim Sharp, the flyest brother we know Miami Bryce and local heroes Two Northern Scumbags, with a basement session from House Rules.
