Plastic People is the most underrated club in London. Shoreditch is full of places that think they’re much cooler than they are but Plastic People is the complete opposite! I’ve been a few times now and it’s quickly becoming my regular Saturday night haunt!
I get my wobbly bass fix at Plastic People! Always a rowdy night out here, although the queue can be a nightmare on the big nights. We always try and get tickets in advance when it's looking like that. It is a small basement club at the end of the day.
Plastic People can end up like a proper meat market if you’re not carefull! go early to avoid not gettin in.
Have been Plastic People for some time now but I to love it here.
The music here is a proper diverse selection, so I’ve found you don’t have to worry about one person’s music taste as all are pretty much catered for. LOVE Plastic People.
BEST CLUB IN SHOREDITCH. Have had so many decent nights here at Plastic People.
I’d suggest getting to Plastic People pretty early as it can get proper rammed here!
Epic place for a some great old school disco music, Love Plastic People in Shoreditch!
I came Plastic People last weekend for the first time and had a really enjoyable night! well decent selection of music, the bar didn’t have too much of a queue so that was a definite plus point compared to other London clubs I have been in.
Was at a bit of a loss with most of the music that they played at Plastic People, haha defo need to start listening to a wider range i think lol
I have been to Plastic People a few times in the past and have always such good nights here.
Always have a well mint night out here at Plastic People! easily one of the best clubs in Shoreditch.
The one thing I would say is the sound system at Plastic People ain't what it used to be. But, hey, it's always fun. And some of the best names in dubstep and bass get on the decks, so usually it doesn't matter so much. The queue is a pain though, so we always make sure we buy tickets in advance
For me, Plastic People is the best club in London. Brilliant underground DJs, a crowd that just wants to party, and it's not too far from my house. Not a lot not to like about Plastic People to be honest. Dirty brilliance.
If i could select zero stars i would - avoid this place. The night in question was Saturday 23rd August 2008. Don't know what the night was called or run by but the promoters were all wearing I am 14 t-shirt's. They were rude and aggressive to the point of intimidation when asked what the refund policy was. We did not take the piss we were in there for 15 mins - it was overcrowded & stank so felt it was a fair question. This is not a club run by professions. not worth £10!!!!
I went down to a launch party on at Plastic People on Saturday which was my second time to the club. It's nice to find somewhere that aint just a meat market. Plastic People has a friendly vibe and I had a wicked time.
Plastic People 'And Did We Mention Our Disco?' club night on Fridays is an unmissable event in one of the captial's best venues.
Our Disco is everything Trash wishes it was, packed with mutant disco and dirty electro the music is exceptionally cool and everyone so relaxed, which is useful in a venue the size of a shoebox.
One tip, don't go to Plastic People dressed up, you will stick out like a posh and sore thumb.
Plastic People was not my cup of tea. I go clubbing to go mad and rave all night, not to dance on a dancefloor with about five other people.
Plastic People has synthetic animals and is definitely one to visit. I have been to Plastic People a few times and love the venue as it's so small and relaxed. The dancefloor is wicked - it's like a black hole - nobody can be seen when you are looking from near the bar. There's great music and people, the drinks are very reasonably priced and the soundsytem is wicked. You must visit Plastic People at least once. I'm going there again this week!
Music was a bit boring at times as mere plebians like me only recognised about three songs. I would like a copy of their cd to play in the confines of my own room to chill to, where I would not need to pay 7 quid to get in. The mix was good though and obviously so much better than the usual crap you hear in Londons' clubs. Drinks are well cheap too.
