If i could select zero stars i would - avoid this place. The night in question was Saturday 23rd August 2008. Don't know what the night was called or run by but the promoters were all wearing I am 14 t-shirt's. They were rude and aggressive to the point of intimidation when asked what the refund policy was. We did not take the piss we were in there for 15 mins - it was overcrowded & stank so felt it was a fair question. This is not a club run by professions. not worth £10!!!!

I went down to a launch party on at Plastic People on Saturday which was my second time to the club. It's nice to find somewhere that aint just a meat market. Plastic People has a friendly vibe and I had a wicked time.

Plastic People 'And Did We Mention Our Disco?' club night on Fridays is an unmissable event in one of the captial's best venues.

Our Disco is everything Trash wishes it was, packed with mutant disco and dirty electro the music is exceptionally cool and everyone so relaxed, which is useful in a venue the size of a shoebox.

One tip, don't go to Plastic People dressed up, you will stick out like a posh and sore thumb.

Plastic People was not my cup of tea. I go clubbing to go mad and rave all night, not to dance on a dancefloor with about five other people.

Hi , i was just wondering what clubs you would recommend as alternatives, with great dubstep where you can just go mad and rave all night? X

Plastic People has synthetic animals and is definitely one to visit. I have been to Plastic People a few times and love the venue as it's so small and relaxed. The dancefloor is wicked - it's like a black hole - nobody can be seen when you are looking from near the bar. There's great music and people, the drinks are very reasonably priced and the soundsytem is wicked. You must visit Plastic People at least once. I'm going there again this week!

Music was a bit boring at times as mere plebians like me only recognised about three songs. I would like a copy of their cd to play in the confines of my own room to chill to, where I would not need to pay 7 quid to get in. The mix was good though and obviously so much better than the usual crap you hear in Londons' clubs. Drinks are well cheap too.
