I attended last weekend on a Saturday night, quite late (about 2am). I arrived on my own and was fairly smartly dressed. I got in without a hitch and paid the cover fee. On arrival I headed to the bar and ordered a drink. I was immediately pounced upon by one of the girls and that's understandable - they're there to make money. But I don't like to be rushed so I had to decline and ended up making my way down to a seat.

Fairly soon afterwards, a tattooed girl introduced herself and we had a nice chat and a drink or two. I was invited for a dance and quickly told that prices start at £20 but I should buy one for £40 as that will get a hotter and lengthier dance. I agreed but sadly, the dance was neither hot nor long.

We ended up going back to the seat and credit where it's due, she stayed with me and we were chatting for so long I gave her a tip at the end for her time.

The club was fairly empty, and although there were stage dances happening, unfortunately none of them were very good with the girls looking a bit tired and fed up more than anything.

I've been to many strip clubs in my time, and this one is nicely laid out, has a good, non-threatening feel about it and is comfortable to spend some time with. Like any club of this nature, you have to learn to say no - sometimes quite firmly - and be respectful at all times. Keep track of what's in your wallet and you should have a good time here.

First time doing a review, been going to platium laice for about 3 months and it is a very nice club would say best in London, the bouncers are all very nice and will look after you, the girls in the club are mostly nice and will sit and chat with you and have a dink so long as your having dances,
Highly recommend and you will have a brilliant night put here,
One thing though take plenty of money

Went last night for the club's 1st birthday party and it was amazing! Free champagne and food for all, beautiful girls and a brilliant carnival atmosphere. The staff looked after us all! Entertainment was amazing. Stiltwalkers, albino pythons and fireshows. Fortunately my email is on their database and get invited to all of their party nights, which happen quite frequently and which are always a great night out! Me and my friends will be back very soon! Big shout outs to the percussionist, Magic Fingers, for his rhythmic drumming skills, Pete the dj for his seamless mixing of Hed Kandi cds and Paul Kennedy for making us feel welcome and for his abilities to always put on the most crazy and unforgettable nights!

My first time to a strip club with my party of 2 girls and 2 boys. So my review may not be the same Entry Bouncers: £10 before 11pm regardless on gender, I heard beforehand that they wouldn't let girls in but they did. Went there at 10pm. Bouncer said I had to be on guest list despite me calling up beforehand, and the staff saying I can just turn up without being on the guest list. He let me in, but I advise getting on the guest list so they have no excuse to not let you in. Girls: Girls are friendly (of course) and most are good looking. They have a nice chat with you and sometimes sit on your lap and flirt. If they think you got a fat wallet. Entertainment: 2 poles on opposite ends of the rooms. Seating is in between that. Was a guys stag do so two girls in outfits got him on the stage, rode him like a horse, spanked him and gave him a lap dances on the stage together. Got the crowd involved as the louder we cheered, the harder he got spanked. Very interactive. Staff: Nice but they do try to continually persuade you to buy drinks in batches instead of one at a time so they can make more money. They do try to push bigger purchases on you. Staff not the the dancers. Good thing is they bring the drinks to your seat. Lap dance: £20 for one song. Get a private booth. Usually strip off fully naked. Friendly girls. Make sure you agree prices beforehand so they don't try to skank more money outta you. My guy mate got a lap dance and so did my female friend. Everyone welcome. After my lapdance (i'm a female) she kissed me on the cheek and said 'now it's you're turn.' :) If only I could lap dance. Drinks: £5 for a bottle of Corona and £5 shot of sambucca. Standard. Staff will try to push you to buy bottles and buy more drinks. They bring the drinks to your seat. Cloakroom: Free cloakroom with entry :)decor: Elegant, classy and trendy. 10 out 10 for decor! Beautiful. Verdict: recommended! Especially for a first timer and girls.

Very Entertaining. I entered Platinum Lace at 9pm and stayed right till the end (6 am). Time just seemed to have gone like a train. All the staff were fab and would recommend to those who have a good sense of fun and thick wallet. All in all i ended up spending £128 but it was worth it.

I went to this club after being told how good it was and the decor was nice, I was put under pressure by staff to take a booth and spent a lot more than I wanted, but then this is how this type of club works. Girls were not great pushing for dances and trying to tell me that I had to pay for two and I would get one free. Not that impressed with this club wouldn't go back here there are much better places than this

Excellent. Absolutely fantastic. Sure there is a fair amount of pressure and 'negotiating' but what else can you expect. And the pressure is fair, not nasty. Standard of girl is variable, again to be expected. If you a patient there are some real beauties - but I guess the phrase 'horses for courses' applies anyway. I found two girls from Birmingham and one from Romania who were, well, breathtaking.

As a previous posted said, stick to a budget. You really could spend anything in there...

I went to Platinum Lace in June 2011 with my girlfriend. The door staff were polite & no problem at all, they explained the prices & the way it worked inside. The woman at the reception desk was very nice, taking our coats which is complementary. Inside the club there is a bar which you can go to, or there seems to be a girl who walks around asking if you'd like more drinks. We had a bottle of Corona and a white wine which came to £10. The club is laid out nicely, seating around the edge & groups of seats in the centre between the two pole dancing stages. We were approached by a girl who chatted for a while before we both had a dance from her. The dances are done in booths, not at the table, which does make it more of a private show. The dances are £20 each. I found that we weren't constantly asked for dances by the girls, and if a girl chatted then they were relaxed if we didn't want a dance, but this might have been because we went there as a couple. It seemed that groups of guys were constantly surrounded by woman, which is fine if that's what you want, but as it is more like a bar type layout i felt it worked better to ask a girl if we wanted to. The night we went there were 65 girls working, not at the same time mind.The only issue i had was one girl i had a dance with suddenly said, "That's your first dance over, you've started dance two now, but you can have the third one for free!" I didn't want a second dance and said this to her. She was insistent that i was having a second dance with her & i could use the cash point to get more money to pay her. The door staff are constantly wandering through and i expected her to call them in saying i wouldn't pay. We hadn't agreed to two dances so i go up to leave,paid her for the one dance and she stopped going on, clearly just trying it on hoping i'd pay. To be fair this was the only issue, the club looks good, isn't expensive on drinks and the girls are generally ok. We had a good night and would go back there again.

I ended up at Platinum Lace by 'accident' the other night ... It was the best 'accident' ever! I had a great night! The girls were gorgeous, the drinks were quite reasonably priced and the music was really good. I can't wait to go back! Brian

I went to Platinum Lace on the weekend and had a great night! The club exceeded all my expectations; the drinks and atmosphere were great and the dancers were superb! All staff were friendly and welcoming. I am already planning my next night out at Platinum Lace.

I went to Platinum Lace for New Years Eve and had an amazing time, the drinks were pricey but well worth it and the girls looked fabulous- amazing dancers too. Overall just a great night and I will be definitely going back some time soon!

Well I ended up here on 23rd December after being to a few pubs in the area. Friend of mine had a membership card, so it was free entry for us both.
Rocked up to the bar where I purchased 1x Vodka redbull, 1x Cosmo and 1x Rusty nail (Jameson & Drambuie) oh and an orange juice, I paid by card well the total came to £32.83. Purchased some Champagne at £180 per bottle, we were escorted to a table by a very nice waitress. After the first bottle, we ordered another and I paid again by card, £469.20 (2x Bottles of champers and 6 tequilla shots) - I didn't realise until the next day that there was a "Service fee" of £61.20 on the bill, so not sure if this was because I paid by card, or it was due to having a waitress. Drinks were expensive, but I guess that's what we ordered so can't really complain about it.

I don't get the whole card charges though and I think this is a rip off and anyone going should just pay in CASH.

Dances are £20 per song, and all the girls which I seen / sat next to me were stunning. Although I didn't like one who asked "Do you like hot girls" I said, yes but I wasn't interested at the moment, to which i received the reply "Tut...Fine, you don't know what you are missing baby. Must be gay"
Two other girls sat with our group and I got chatting to them, very friendly, had a drink with us and then I had a dance with them both.

In all the club is great, more atmosphere than Spearmint Rhino, smaller and somewhat more friendly from the moment you walk in. I was a bit drunk when leaving but one of the security staff rang me a taxi, and allowed me to stand outside behind the ropes until it came, when it did, he kindly walked me over to the taxi. Spent in total about £750.00 but it was a great night, expensive but hey, we all know the prices of these clubs and yes, the drinks are a bit high, but in all it's a great club. Highly recommended.

Platinum Lace is great, the girls are hot, the waitresses are friendly, I can't fault it. I was expecting to pay a huge bill compared to some of the other Lapdancing clubs in town but was pleasantly surprised. I had some dances, and me and my friend to decided to take up the offer of a booth with a couple of lovely ladies. All I can say is. Now I know what its like to be treated like a rock star! Love it - will be back!

I think that Platinum Lace is a great addition to London, in a central location, close the office! I took my wife and a some colleague's to the Brighton club earlier this year after conference and had a great evening. So when I heard they had branched into London, I took some friends there at the weekend. We were amazed by the quality of the club and service. Looking forward to piling in there after our Christmas bash.

This club has just opened up so its hard to tell what its going to be like when things settle down

There are two poles (Dance poles that is) badly positioned on opposite sides off the seating area often with VIP reserved seats near the stage .
Stage shows could be a bit better. Lap dances are the same as other places in London but at least the bouncers don't watch you like criminals.

30% of the dancers are stunning , 20% are good looking , the rest are average and a few mingers (obviously other guys do like them otherwise they would have just retired) . So all in all , right now it probably has the best girls in town.

Drinks costs a bit more than London bars but you do get to see nice looking girls and not some fat guy playing darts.

Obviously there is no limit to how much cash you can burn in one of these places so you just have to ignore previous reviews about getting ripped off - these are often written by people who have woken up with a hangover and a grand poorer. Best approach is to set a limit and stick to it (just like when you visit a casino)

Nice strip club. They don't try to rip-off anyone. You get what they say.

No obligation to have a private dance or anything. You can just sit and enjoy all night long strip shows on the pole. Nice music. Girls come constantly and sit next to you. But they leave when you say you are not interested.

After a little chat, if you want to have a private dance they take you to private rooms in the back of the club and give you a fully nude private dance. No touching. No proper lap dances. Although some girls know what they are doing, most of them are less talented.

Don't get me wrong I've been to a few clubs in my time but wow....

From being greeted by a bald idiot who looked like he belonged in lock stock and 2 smoking barrels to being barracked by eastern Europeans desperate to take what little cash I had left after spending on the ridiculously priced drinks...

Really, I've done Stringfellows, The Mayfair Club, Spearmint, I thought I had seen everything, but if it was possible to hit a new low then congratulations!


If you do make the mistake of going please please please ignore what the girls tell you, keep your eyes on your wallet and don't expect to be leaving with alot!

What a great night. Platinum Lace exceeded all my expectations; amazing decor, loads of VIP space and a brilliant selection of drinks. This is definitely going to be the new celeb hot-spot on the London club scene!
