Proud Cabaret celebrates the New Year with a massive dress-up swing ball, celebrity DJs, international burlesque & cabaret stars and authentic 1920s dinner theatre dining.

On Friday 31st December, Proud Cabaret will provide City dwellers with the ultimate New Year's extravaganza. The dress-up Swing Swing Swing! party will not only feature The Tassel Club's hottest international burlesque and cabaret stars, but will also welcome Dita von Teese's favourite tour companions – electro swing pioneers Bart&Baker.

Jetting in from Paris and providing a highlight to the New Year festivities, Bart&Baker will provide the soundtrack to the night, remixing 20s, 40s and 50s tracks alongside modern dance favourites to keep party-goers dancing through to the New Year.

The DJ duo has won over the likes of Dita Von Teese by perfecting an authentic nouveau -vintage French soiree experience. Adding their own take on old-Hollywood glamour by incorporating retro costumes and recruiting world-class acts from the world of burlesque and cabaret, Bart&Baker’s special London date is one not to be missed. As a special New Year’s treat, the French DJs will also play exclusive tracks from their brand new album and will hand out exclusive copies of their brand new single to all Swing Swing Swing! guests.

The Parisians are the ideal complement for The Tassel Club’s Swing Swing Swing! night. Proud’s favourite residents are encouraging all guests to don their most glamorous attire and dancing shoes to prepare to dance off 2010 and enter 2011 with a swing.

Revelry experts The Tassel Club have booked all their very best performers to add some serious vaudevillian sparkle to the night’s proceedings. In the words of The Tassel Club: ‘Be prepared for some seriously stylish sauce!’ To make sure the crowd make the most of the vaudevillian night, gorgeous Tassel Club girls will be selling hand rolled cigars, handmade garters and the all essential pair of diamante encrusted tassels.
