The ViewLondon Review

Tucked away under the railway arches behind London Bridge station, SeOne is not a club you’re likely to find by accident. Once you have, however, you’re equally unlikely to forget it.

The Venue
With the potential to hold 3,000 people within its 30,000 square feet, SeOne is the biggest licenced venue in London. This cavernous space yields several benefits - the most practical of which is a lack of frustratingly long bar and toilet queues.

Their five separate rooms - in use every Friday and Saturday night - allow simultaneous events to be held here. However, make sure the name of your desired night matches the event name when you book your tickets, as you can’t switch events once you’re inside.

The Atmosphere
The superclub square footage of SeOne allows them to make the most of their recently upgraded sound and lighting system, which provide one of the most intense and memorable clubbing experiences the capital has to offer.

The Music
Nobody goes to SeOne to swap style tips, compare haircuts or pose by the bar; it’s all about the music and, more specifically, variety. Every weekend is different and, with the exception of urban, no genre is excluded. It’s all here: hard house, drum n bass, break beat, psychedelic trance, electro, indie, live bands, indoor festivals and Brazilian carnivals - the list is limitless.

The Drink
Drinks are reasonably priced for a London club. Bottles of beer are £3.50, but you might as well fork out an extra 50p for a large can. Alcopops average £3.50, and that 6am rum and coke will cost you about a fiver.

The Last Word
SeOne has never opted for the in-your-face brand marketing of other clubs of its size, probably in part due its origins lying in the illegal rave scene of the early ‘90s. Instead, the focus has been directed at providing the best clubbing experience possible, so you’re able to enjoy it while you’re there, rather than simply looking forward to telling people that you’ve been.
