Nice place, its always open late which is good for me as i don't finish work till late in the evening.

been here a few times and like the feel of the venue.
However on one recent visit i was annoyed to be ripped of with the old "we only serve doubles as standard" trick.. at no point did the barman point this out before my order, and i was landed with an bill of about £15 for two rum and cokes. I asked for singles as i am aware of this rip off, only for the barman to say "but a double is the same price as a single sir"... well yes it would be if you only serve doubles.

I chose not to make a scene and paid for my drinks, but did mention to the barman that there should be a sign up clearly stating that this is the case before stinging the customer. He just returned a smug smile and shrugged his shoulders.

I doubt ill be returning. Its a shame as its not a bad little bar, apart from the vomit in the gents toilets and the all too common 'doubles as standard' trick

Never been to Souk before but a friend told me that with your Ben and Jerry's ticket you can get 241 at Souk so we decided to make a night of it and try it out as Souk was handily down the road from the Common!

Was pleasantly met with a great vibe and music and of course 241 on our glasses of wine! Thoroughly enjoyed the rest of our evening, that offer really made the end of the day for us!

We partied til the early hours at Souk and here i am wishing i had booked Monday off now... but was worth it!

Had to go back to this fabulous place as the summer's drawing in (admittedly with the rain) and i love to sit outside and Souk offers me just that!

This time i took a little group along and we had a good old boogie into the night on Friday night - perfect after a hard days work i have to say!

didn't realise the time as they have a late licence and definitely enjoyed my night, you have to try their cocktails! especially the Midnight in Clapham, ever tried pear vodka?! wow!

Definitely my summer spot of choice.

SOUK is a beautiful bar that hasn't faded in the 10+ years its been on Clapham High street, which is amazing in these days, they must have that special something!!

i love this place, its a home away from home, fabulous cocktails and nibbles, perfect to unwind after a hard week for romantic drinks (try the gorgeous Passionate Affair)or a fun filled girls night, Bellini time!

I found this little gem in their first few years of opening and i still keep going back, if you haven't been, it's time to check it out!

Came here after hanging out in the park on the Sunday of the bank holiday weekend. we were given a couple of flyers that gave us free shots with our drinks. There were some other great deals on too. I expected Souk to be expensive because it looks like a very up market place but it was actually really reasonable with all these offers!

There was a really great vibe and we ended up staying there till the end which was 4am! Most late night clubs and bars are really grimy but i loved this one! Apparently there similar nights for the Royal wedding bank holiday too...I will be there then for sure!

Cant believe i hadn't been here before! its just the kind of place i love! Vibrant, trendy, great crowd, cocktails looked really good but i was sticking to the champagne.

I was on a table a friend had reserved for his birthday. we were looked after brilliantly by a really friendly and fun waitress.

we had plans to go somewhere else after a couple of hours at Souk but abandoned them because we where having such a good time where we were!

the atmosphere was great and built up more and more through the night!

great night!

forgot how great this place is! I hadn't been for a while but will be going regularly now!

the music was great and the bartenders are right on the mark with their cocktail making skills!

the food was really good. I didn't come to eat but once i saw some food come out for someone else i had to order some.

the place just has this great vibe. it seems to fit every mood too; there were a couple of tables having a chilled out catch up over a bottle of wine and some food and also people dancing and partying by the bar.

there was some great offers earlier on in the night too!

looking forward to going back soon!

Souk is a jewel in the sometimes depressing London! Stepping inside I felt like id escaped the greyness and the miserable British weather and entered an oasis of warmth and comfort. I loved the look of the place and the feeling of being in Aladdin's den or somewhere exotic like Morocco but with the modern twist of the music (great mix of classic and commercial tracks from the DJ) and also the great crowd that came in that night. I came on a Friday not long after a hard, dull days work and was able to leave all my bad feelings out side and just have a great time! The waiting staff were really friendly and made me feel welcome and that I'd come to the right place. The cocktails made by the lovely bar men were amazing! I didn't try the food but it looked delicious and I will definitely be trying it next time!
The night started off quite calmly and I had a nice table to sit with my friend. As the night went on and it got busier the atmosphere encouraged us to leave our seats to dance and mingle with the crowd.
I saw they make bookings for parties so I cant wait until my birthday so I have an excuse to throw one there!

I've only been there on a Thursday night while I was looking for a late drinking venue. everything seemed fine on first impressions, but after asking for a double vodka with a splash of coke (I like to taste the vodka in my drink) and was met with hi-ball glass filled to the top with Coke thrust towards me.

A reply of "that wasn't what I ordered" resulted in the reply of "If you want something else, it's going to cost you another drink. That's how we pour them here" and he quickly took the undrunken drink and put it out of reach, and even when challenged, he wouldn't give it back.

So naturally, as I thought this this wasn't how a bar which values repeat custom should operate, I asked to speak to the manager. The barman then returned, very quickly, with the largest bouncer on hand who then said 'It's a Thursday night, there's no manager here'

After speaking to my fellow drinking companions, they were of the impression that the drinks they've been handed didn't seem the correct 'consistency' (and they do know their drinks).

I can only come to the conclusion that this is not somewhere you should plan to go to, even if you're looking for a late bar.

I went there on a Wednesday night (13/10/10). I loved the place! Nice people, nice atmosphere, good looking ladies, the DJ is Top Class, security staff is very friendly, and of course location is great as the night buses leave just across the street. The reason i am rating the place with 3 stars is only because of the bartenders. Both guys working inside the bar were terrible. Slow, Rude and unprofessional. I ordered drinks 5 times that night and... they never managed to remembered my drink. For a very strange reason i have been charged different price for same drinks by the 2 bartenders. The guys seemed like they were doing me a favor to serve me a drinks. Anyway, the place is nice and i would recommend it!

I went to souk on Thursday night 2 weeks ago and absolutely loved it. The food was great, my cocktails tasted great my favourite was the Purple Passion. I love passion fruit anyway, but it just tasted wonderful.

I recognised the DJ from another place I've been quite a bit, which is always a good sign!

My friends loved it we did all get a bit too tipsy though!

I went there on Sunday and i really enjoyed myself.

I hadn't realised that they now had live music on Sundays and it gave us some real entertainment...

and we only paid £15 each for a 3 course meal which i was pleasently surprised....I've already told my friends about the food and the price because I havent eaten that much food, for that price for years!!

I had a really good night here

The staff were polite when we entered and we managed to get our first round of drinks (with 10 of us out) within a short space of time.

Later, we had food which was really needed so it was great to be somewhere that the bar food was really decent and filling.

I was impressed by the music played and the DJs were awesome. It looked like it's somewhere gaining momentum because some of the information I've seen about events happening there look pretty lively with some pretty well known DJs.

I'll definitely recommend it to my friends for a good value place to go out with a group of friends

It's quite expensive but it has a good atmosphere on a weekend so I forgive it most of the time!

Plus it's one of the only places to be open until pretty late midweek and even then it's a laugh.

Good music and really friendly staff.

Shame that they don't have beers on tap but I suppose that just adds to the ambiance.

Cold wine, good cocktails and good music for late night partying...
Sometimes a bit too busy but all in all a good chilled out night can be had.
The staff and management are all gems too.

I was broken in SOUK for my birthday, the managers fault...

Great place to party but also a sweet place to take a date for quiet afternoon drinks...

I went on Sat night a month ago and thought it was awful. Full of drunk, pretencious people and rubbish music. I will not be returning! Too much bling and dodgy dance music, the bar opposite is much better.

SO.UK has a great atmospere and the music is different, but relaxing and upbeat at same time. This is my favourite bar around Clapham Common.

There's lots of nice people and sometimes you can find some great looking guys there, and friendly people in general.

SO.UK looks extremely stylish - everytime I go there I wish I was taking fixtures and fittings home with me!

Tip: Go with minimum of £40.00 if you drink nothing before - some drinks can cost up to £10.00 each.

I had a great time at SO.UK. I went with a friend I hadn't seen in a while, and it was a great choice because the music and crowd wasn't too loud to hear myself think as in most places. There was ample seating, and it wasn't difficult to find somewhere to sit. The decor at SO.UK was really cool, but not over the top.

Had a good old time. Can't remember if the drinks were expensive, but they can't have been too much because I can't remember and I'm on a tight budget.

I love SO.UK it gets jam packed with women and what more could a man want? Makes it a lot easier to pull, been lucky there a few times myself.
SO.UK does have expensive drinks but the atmospheres worth paying for.
