Hula Boogie! Vintage music and dance night has been running at South London Pacific since 2003 and won the 'best club night' award in the Easyjet Travellers Awards! The night is held on the third Sunday of the month and plays a fabulous mix of rockin' dance tunes from the 1940s and the 1950s to a crowd who love vintage style and to jive! If you can't dance there is a jive class at the start of the night and also you get to learn to do a Hula dance. Perfect setting for this! There are occasional band nights (and an Annual Elvis night in August) but most months there are three djs (two resident and one guest dj ) who specialise in vintage music for dancing. You even get free chocolate mid way through the night to keep you going! It's fun night out!

I booked an area at London Southe Pacific for my 30th birthday last Saturday and had a fantastic night.

We got a great area at the back of the bar, it was free and no bar spend to worry about, free entry before 9 and all my guests got discounted entry after that. Fabulous tiki cocktails with umbrellas and the works (beware the hangover) were discounted until 10pm which was great too.

It was still quiet enough to have a conversation with all my friends early in the evening, then great atmosphere with really fun music later on that had everyone dancing till the very end. I had a really great time, so many thanks to Heilco and Ricky for their help arranging it. Would recommend and will return!

I found South London Pacific by random web surfing. It has wild decor, potent delicious cocktails and lively cabaret. South London Pacific is well worth the adventure.

South London Pacific has great cocktails. In keeping with the Tiki theme you can get some of them served in coconuts! If you go to South London Pacific early you can get cheap cocktails which are wicked. I love it at here as it makes a nice change to lots of London style bars.

South London Pacific is a bit of a surprise. We went there the other night having walked past it for a couple of months. I had never been to a 'Tiki' bar and now want to go back again. South London Pacific has got great decor- nice but not overstated. The cocktails are good and overall the experience is a refreshing.
