Went here with Tstars parties as we have explored alot of nights out with them! and they took us here once! was great night! as they do so many clubs this was one of our favs

I have been to the TCR club several times, and have enjoyed myself, I have even brought my girlfriend along with another of our female friends. Not only have we been made to feel welcome by the management and not to mention the performers (who I couldn't help but wonder if it was only my money that they were interested in), but the atmosphere is what it is, a tease, a very enjoyable show, albeit quite expensive! Expect to drop at least 200.00 for the evening, or don't show up! You are going to get owned, accept this or stay home.

Would anyone recommend this place for couples

My friend wanted a fun night so I took him to Spearmint Rhino. We were having a good night...apart from the expected but annoying constant hassling from the girls. Money was no problem- we simply wanted to have the chance to converse with each other and enjoy a stage show without interruption.
After bottle of wine and a couple of very sexy private dances, I noticed I had misplaced my handbag. On going to the cloakroom to eliminate the possibility of leaving it with our coats, I was asked to present a ticket. After explaining my friend inside had the ticket and I didn't wish to take my coat, merely check to see if my handbag was there, I was again asked for the ticket. As there were only about 10 guests in the whole club I simply pointed out my coat and asked him again to check if my handbag was hanging with it. Again I was asked for the ticket. After explaining that I didn't want to take the handbag if it was there, I simply just wanted to know it's whereabouts- you guessed it, like a robot, I was asked for the ticket. By this time I was very annoyed at his inability to communicate with me and regrettably stated 'stuff the ticket-just check for my handbag'. At this stage a bouncer with 'short little fat man syndrome on a power trip' threw me out.
I can't help but wonder if I would have been treated as harsh and unsympathetically earlier on in the evening before the bill was paid.
Needless to say, my friend followed clutching my handbag that was found in the private dance booth.
So apart from the fabulous lap dances that left me so absent minded, I am left with bitter memories of Spearmint Rhino.

Ill be soon visiting again to see if tcr can get the number one status back. Ive just visited their website - its pretty crap , they have lots of special offers all revolving around food and drink...dus VA management really think I go to SR for the food n drink, only a Fat bar steward would ask to see the food menu when they have a choice of a hundred young chicks. Cum on management use that brain cell.
2 for 1 should mean 2 girls for the price of one and not 2 boring dances instead of one.

Anyway, Friday night I shall visit and let you all-know if it gets the No1 spot back (the No1 position has been vacated by the poor performance of my other fav. club)

We went here for a late lunch recently, food was OK, drinks reasonable. There were a few nice girls but a £20 dance really doesn't last very long, about 3 minutes. The girls will try to encourage you to pay for VIP - essentially the same thing only for half an hour or an hour at a time. Unsurprisingly they'll try to get you to pay between £300 to £400 per hour (the same as £20 per dance/music track) but our advice is to haggle as when it's quiet they have nothing else to do and £100 per hour is still excellent money by anyone's standards. We found the dancing uninspiring as the girls have been trained to go through routines and they always seem to have their minds on where their next customer will come from. To that end the girls were continually making excuses to go for a break so that the time actually spent dancing during the VIP period was quite reduced. We found the whole thing a novel experience but would only recommend it if you are looking for something quite trivial and essentially shallow.

This is still one of the best Lap dance venues, 2nd to be precise.

The stages are positioned well so you can focus on the dancers. The dancers are still pretty good quality although they still employ quite a few girls the wrong side of 30 with plastic boobs ,its far better than the competition.

Obviously allot of reviews here are over critical about SR. Some customers obviously have overspent the budget . There are a few greedy B*tches around so you do have to keep you wits about you but thats true for any club.

Sometimes you may be lucky enough to get a 2 girl stage show - pretty tame but good enough to get your imagination going.

Like I said 2nd best club in london means its def worth a visit (i wont tell you who is number one...thats for you to decide)

Took a group of business partners in last night. Real 'wow factor' when entering. Great club good service and quite shocked at the reasonable prices cheaper than alot of London bars! As for the girls! Wow.

Thanks for a great time Spearmint Rhino. Brought some guest in for a nice time and ended up having a blast myself. At first I did not want to particpate and take care of my guest but they were having such a good time I had to join and of course the beauty next to me at the bar helped out!! I was recently at Spearmint Rhino in London with a group of friends for a birhtday party and just wanted to let everyone know what a brilliant night we had. Especially when you hear about how people get ripped off but I must say the girls were exceptionally respectful and we weren't pestered at all. Bar staff and waitresses very friendly would recommend this establishment to everybody. Even the security staff were very helpful and explained everything to us and nothing was to much trouble for them which is quite unusual as they very often get a bad name and seeing some of the idiots and drunks they deal with I wouldn't do they job for all the money in the world. They dealt with situations very professionally. Top club and top people. If you give respect you will get respect back no matter who you are or how much money you earn or own. Great club go and enjoy.

I went here with a group of friends just the other night. We thought it would be fun, but how wrong we were. I wish I could give 0 stars.

I was just at the Spearmint Rhino in Las Vegas (flagship). Let me explain how the funding works. The club keeps the entry fee, bar fees, etc. The girls get 90% (yup) of the payments to them, club takes 10%. So that's why you have very beautiful women highly motivated to separate you from your cash. They have this down to a science.

I went night benn to a few of their clubs but this is the worst. Most girl don't even give u a proper lap dance. There were 2-3 girls out 7 or 8 I danced with that were 7 who put a nit tit in ur face. This is a flagship venue, the one in brim is much better for £60 you get vip. Don't waste your money go somewhere else!

Definitely one of the best in the business.

The ladies and staff are polite, you are left spoilt for choice and the environment is very welcoming.

My wife wants to take me here for my 40th birthday. Something neither of have every done after 20 years of marriage.

Given her nerves and mine, I decided to visit Tuesday 9th December, see if I would freak out let alone my wife.

I explained my situation to the doorman, who was professional, polite and explained how the club worked.

I dropped of my coat the cloak room, and stepped nervously into the club, thinking I might pass out with nervousness.

I bought a drink, and then was approached by a beautiful lady, Luna. I told my situation, and she answered me questions then led me to a table to drink and talk.

She explained how the club worked, made suggestions with no pressure about what I am my wife might find enjoyable. Then she offered me a dance in a booth which I accepted, and had three in total with no pressure at any point to part with my money for more.

I left before I fainted, and was treated kindly, professionally, and made to feel that I and my wife would be welcome back.

So looking forward to my 40th birthday night now.

My visit to this club was a mixed experience. As the flagship central london club you can expect high prices and strict rules i give you that but the degree of 'Hustling' in Spearmint Rhino (Tottenham Court Road) is over the top. For example after paying £15 to get in you are immediately cornered by two females before you reach the bar. One approaches from the front, the other from the side and they both have their arms around you in a second. You can't escape without knocking them down which is not what comes naturally to most men in that situation.

Within moments you have agree to go for a drink with them which you think means sit down for a chat, what it actually means is they will order the most expensive bottle of champagne on your tab which you will be charged for. Try and get out of it and you will find security bearing down on you quickly.

You start buying the girls drink you are psycologically more open to them getting you into the VIP room where your bank account will be swiftly devoured. Once you are out of cash the formally friendly companions will have moved on to some other poor sucker leaving you with more buyers remorse than a student going into BMW to ask for directions and coming out with a new 7-series on his credit card!Don't get me wrong this club isn't all bad, just bear these tips in mind:1) Take cash ONLY no credit/debit cards (or pretend you dont have them)2) Stick firmly to what you can afford to spend3) Avoid anyone that invades your personal space4) Print VIP coupons from their website for free entry5) Look out for one of my best friends 'Lolita' (petite Brazillian) who performs spectacular stage shows here most day of the week6) Don't go alone unless you are confident you can deal with a high pressure strip club environment - trust me, it can turn the strongest of us into putty

Dancers that disappear into a back area with your money and 45 minutes to drop in coat in cloakroon + other 45 to pick up. I really dont recommend this club

Okay, very nice joint as far as these types of places go, well laid out, VERY attractive girls. However, this is not a relaxed place that gives you time to take in the sights...they work you REALLY hard to part with alot of money before you have been in there five minutes. This is fine if you can say no to well-spoken very beautiful women--but I certainly can't so I had sucker all over me. Anyway, hooked up with a very well spoken, beautiful blond Czech girl who smelled of coconut oil, she latched on to me right away, took me to the bar--(she) did lots of petting, hugging, it was very nice but there was alot of underlying pressure to go private. So, 40 minutes later and two hundreds pounds lighter I departed smelling of coconut oil. To dispel any rumors though, the "private rooms" are quiet booths patrolled by vigilant bouncers...it is a show only with just a bit of touching by the dancer--not even a real USA style lap grind...I seriously doubt that there is much in the way of "extra intimate" contact despite what we punters may fantasize about when we are agreeing to the private dance. If you want that you can probably get an escort for the same cost but don't expect it here! If you have willpower and want to see and talk to beautiful ladies this is a good place to go...

This is in response to b_h_m as it seems she didnt like my post about Spearmint Rhino. People come in here to post about their experiences and that is what I did. If there are people who appreciate being made to spend money then Spearmint is surely for them.Other posts in this thread agree with the other comment about how asking for money, and immediately, is mostly the only topic the ladies in this club are able to handle. In my book this kind of behavior is not what a "gentleman's club" is about.Go to other clubs where you can spend your money while in good company and great conversation.

Door staff were polite despite having to deal with some idiot who was trying to haggle for a discount on entry and getting in everyones way!!
If you are a high-roller as I'm sure most of the people are here you will have a great time - its geared up towards people with A LOT of money - if you are an average joe on a night out be careful. It must be the fact that the girls are used to visitors being minted but I found them to be quite pushy and it made the whole experience a taste a bit sour. I don't expect to have a meaningful conversation but some light-hearted chat makes the evening more fun - instead its all geared up towards getting you to splash the cash - If you want to tick the Spearmint Rhino box go ahead - but if you want a fun night out there are much better places to visit.

I saw the last anon review on Spearmint Rhino and felt I had to confront it. When a date of mine asked if we should go to Spearmint Rhino for a drink recently I was somewhat shocked but elated.

We were met by an efficent doorman that explained the house rules and I paid our entry. We were seated and immediately served by an extremely goodlooking waitress. She was attentive and well rehearsed, looking after us all evening.

The girls were beautiful and my date and I had a few private dances. We had a great night out and we were delighted to read this review on the club. We will be back again soon.

This is the worst lap dancing club I have ever visited. Went on Friday Night with my lady friend. The doorman was openly hostile to her and we should have walked away there and then. Paid £30 and were ignored by the dancers and the waitresses. I had to go to the bar to buy my drinks and when a waitress finally came and served us she short changed me! This place has an anti-couple policy and unless you are an Albanian gangster or a chav, stay away.

The original and the best lap dancing club in London! Went on a works night out and had a great time, especially my private dance in the VIP booth!
