Great, quirky pub, always interesting people milling about. Good music.
One of the better places that Shoreditch/Hoxton has to offer.
As it involves a small walk down a dark road which looks like nothing would exist down it it avoids the passer-by crowd.
still the best venue in Shoreditch.
Although a bit hard to find, the long walk in heels was well worth it for the atmosphere in the macbeth..... For anyone from south wales I can only say that this is London's answer to the Monkey Bar in Swansea - same laid back vibe and layout with a well dressed and rather cute crowd !
Best place for live music in london. Always packed. Love it there. Seen Amazing bands. Friendly crowd. Nice staff. Great doormen. Good Drinks. Celebs!. You will love it.
what can i say ....The Macbeth is the only place in London to be at, be seen at, always full of hipsters, celebs and the like, very important to get there early as after 11pm there is always a queue, every night is packed and i'm not suprised this place has managed to steal all the top London promoters and they put on the most talked about nights in Hoxton in the Macbeth !

I saw Plan B at The Macbeth, it was rammed and amazing. Live bands on all the time, and DJs. The Macbeth is turning into a Shoreditch hotspot.
Best laugh we had all night! The Macbeth is a no frills back street boozer with pleasant bar staff and it's very welcoming. A few old timers having a sing song and a knees up, how pubs used to be. Will be visiting The Macbeth again soon!
