we got there at 10:30 pm, place was still empty, we've been told that we can get free meal:chicken and chips or sausage with chips. My sausage was cold so i asked to get it warmed in return i heard "that's the way we serve in here and u didn't pay for this food... this is not as restaurant" blond Polish girl said .that was rude enoughtMD got a 5* from me comparing to Swanseriously no comments...staff was very rude and unhelpful. it was my best friend birthday and we thought that we can have fun in there as every time we were in that place. manager should be trained in customer service.that was the worst experience in my life in London pubs enviroment.will never go there again and will try to get refound for the money i've payd for entrance that night.

If you're looking for a place that's got live rock music, unpretentious, drink only and friendly then look no further.

The Swan is a million miles away from all those moody want to fight you bars in Clapham and something different for a change from those hedonistic bars in Brixton.

The Swan is great fun, cheap booze and wear what you want, trendy or silly.

The Swan is a good boozers Irish pub (but without the obligatrary tack/Irish road signs on the walls) with decent live music downstairs and disco - cheesy pop/pub 'rock classics' (Rage Against the Machine etc.) - that gets a bit more clubby towards midnight. Normally an excellent atmosphere, if you don't mind getting banged into on the odd occasion.

Rough and ready, with chips and sausage at midnight (free with admission ticket). Pay your fiver, get well and truly pissed and try not to get into any trouble.

Plenty of opportunity for obtaining a 'friend' of the opposite sex for the night.
Once downside are the bouncers, all throwbacks from the 80s 'bad old days' and seem to relish in barring entry to what appear to be reasonable looking punters, in obvious efforts to impress the laydeez...

Get your kebabs at the shop over the road on kick-out (3am) - check your change and don't get angry when the birds who got served after you got their food quicker.
Loads of moody cabs to take advantage of outside. Name your price.

Great place to go for a change, easy to find, people are really nice, the bar staff are very friendly, good service, cheap place and safe too. If you miss Ireland this is the place to remember it.
