I went theere Saturday 11th June 2011. It is literally right next to tooting Broadway station. Bouncers check bags thoroughly before you enter, which was no problem. As an old Tram-shed the interior is amazing, glazed brick work, beaten up leathers and chesterfield sofas are found clustered in sociablele groups, surrounded by old nick knacks. Bird cages are suspended from the high ceiling. A brilliant place for a first date! Because if the conversation is drying up you can talk about the decor. There are two floors to The Tramshed, but the second is almost Like a mezzanine level because you are able to see up there. The bar is great, staff are v friendly and a single gin and tonic is under £5 a bargain. I arrived at 930 and it was reasonably busy. After 1145-12 it's quite packed but not unbearable at all! The music was great a real eclectic mix, dire straights, rhianna rude boy, amerie. What was great about The Tramshed was that 1) you could dance, 2) drinks were reasonable, 3) the surroundings v arty and interesting, 4) interesting people and friendly staff. I came with a group of friends 24-35. Had a great time- only regrets. Left too early heheh! Great night out!
