It was quiet at the start of the night but about midnight it got really busy, the manager was really nice and showed us into the club and the bar. Was a good crowd and music was banging, staff and security really friendly, drinks also very good but slightly pricey! Very good overall and would recommend to all.

Heard a lot about this place and haven't been for probably a year or more but went down on sat night, think we were some of the lucky ones to get in as the queue was mega long. Security were actually really nice, would hardly say rude like below, probably a drunk angry idiot! Great time once inside, good atmosphere, great drinks and music, bar and security staff really friendly and helpful, overall v good night. Not sure how this place can get negative reviews as it is always good, owner has got it down to a tee. Keep up the good work Valmont.

I have always heard about the Valmont club but never had the chance to go there! finally I managed to go there for my friend's birthday party. the queue was super-long but we managed to get in. security at the door were the most unwelcome faces and unprofessional as well!! the big tall guy and the old man. from inside the venue is beautiful, very nice crowd and friendly bar staff. however, the place was overcrowded! DJ was one of the best I have ever heard.
I had very enjoyable experience apart of the unwelcome faces at the front door.

I went there for the first time on a Saturday night for a birthday party. My friend had booked a room and I was told that entrance would be ten pounds. We got there and were told to pay 15 despite other people in the queue having to pay ten pounds. The staff at the door were extremely rude. Once inside I was told I have to leave my coat at reception. This was a additional two pound cost which is fine but I had no cash. I found one of the staff at reception extremely rude about this. Lucky her collegue was fine about this and let me go in. I will never go back and clubs should realise service is important. The staff were very confrontational to lots of people.

Was here on Sat night, alright it was mentally busy and the snow didn't help, but had a really good time, they were really welcoming and tried to get people out of the cold as quickly as possible, so not sure what the review below is about as staff were really friendly and helpful given the conditions and the fact it was busy. Security wern't 'throwing people out' but more trying to keep the door shut as it was snowing! First time I've been and won't be the last, keep up the good work!

Never really review clubs as they sometimes don't get taken seriously, but thought I should this time.
Went to Valmont at the weekend and had a really great time time.

Was refused entry to another club as it was 'too busy' so went to try our luck and it worked, got in no probs (had to wait a few mins...).

Some of the best staff we've ever come accross including the management and security who all just let you enjoy your night.

Only slight thing I would say is that it is pricey so be prepared to spend, but saying that drinks are what you pay for.

Cannot recommend highly enough.

I had my 25th Birthday at Valmont a few weeks ago. From the moment I first emailed Carlos with my enquiry to the day of my party he has been so so helpful. The club is absolutely amazing, I usually have big parties every year at some of London's top clubs (Aura, Movida etc), but this one by far was the best I have ever had...the music at around 11pm onwards was the best playlist I have ever heard (from old school garage to Kanye West)! I have had such amazing feedback from all my friends that came. Highly recommended, will be back for sure!!

Simply the best club in London.

I unreservedly recommend it. I visit the venue frequently (pretty much every week) for 3 years, and my loyalty is owing to the fact that the decor is stunning, the music incredible, the clientele is really attractive and all of the staff (management, door staff and the barmen) are all exceptionally nice.

Highly recommend it! Have fun.

Love this venue, I have been here a few times and am never disappointed- very chilled out, good cocktails and good music later in the evenings. There is a good atmosphere and crowd but never feels too packed and sweaty like some London clubs. Door staff are friendly and I've never had a problem getting in. I like that this place is not pretentious unlike some others in the area. It's worth putting your name down on the guestlist too.I have recommended several of my friends to come here for a night out and they are never disappointed. Ash

Had a good night at Valmont on Friday night, heard a lot about it, especially the drinks and they didn't disappoint. I thought compared to other places in the area, (sloane square, kings road etc) they were pretty well priced.

Atmosphere was good as well, the party literally never stops and there are always new people to talk to. The manager and most of the security guys were very welcoming as was the girl in the entrance.

One thing I would say is that one of the foreign security guys who was in the smoking area was quite rude to us, posisble power trip with his bullet proof vest on...?

Overall I would say atmosphere 4, drinks 5, staff 3.

Valmont is awesome, went there again at the weekend and had such a lovely time with friends.

Thierry the manager was really nice and welcoming. Drinks were very good, slightly pricey would be the only criticism but really nice vodka.

Really like the decor and they have had some work done which makes it look very cool.

Even the security guys were really nice and helpful and they actually smiled at you (weird I know!), two of them (James and Sam I think) were so nice and helpful when we had a small problem with a guy who wouldn't leave us alone.

Would recommend to anyone happily.

I recently organised a birthday party here, and from the outset the help arranging this was friendly and very efficient. The place, nestled in the heart of Chelsea is great too...when we got there, we were swiftly taken to a very cool VIP area, which is a collection of velvet covered alcoves! Had a fabulous time, with great music and fuelled by a seemingly infinite number of cocktails! Would definitely recommend this place. I will be returning for sure!

Like most people might say, "I never usually do this", but I had a really positive experience here for my birthday last sat (8th July), so credit where credit is due I thought I would post a review.

I was stressing about finding a place for my 30th and more to the point everyone getting in. Many a time have a few friends been denied entry to places despite being on guest lists for no apparent reason.

I should not have worried, Valmont (Carlos) was really helpful and all my mates got in 20+ in the end, which really helped my bash go off with a bang.

Table service is great, not too pricey for the area in question and decor, music and crowd were all spot on.

Def give them a try!

Hello,

Can you please let me know if there was a dj and dancing and if the table had a minimum spend or can I reserve a table for a group and all buy theor own drinks?

Thanks!

The Valmont club is definitely a place to head to if you want to have a good night. Not only is the service impeccable, everyone is so nice and very helpful. I thought the prices of booking a table was the best around, a steal even, the drinks were good. Music was yet another strong point, the DJ did a phenomenal job of keeping people on the dance floor and the atmosphere was immense. All round Valmont is a great find and has quickly become one of my favourites spots. Definitely the place to go!!

Its a club that I have only been a couple of times. So I am not a regular. Having said this I was treated like one and so were the two other friends of mine. Admittedly it was still early but from the doorman - great chap! to the bartenders and the music it was all super nice :-) good service and the place is not so big that you can't see people. Why do you go to a club? To see people! And lots of fun people! The night was a blast and drinks flowed and the music was fun and everyone was joining in. Definitely will go back again! Even considering doing a private party there in one of the nice little side rooms that they have. They looked cool! Thanks for making it easy and fun!

Second time we've been to this club to celebrate a birthday and each time we've had an absolutely amazing time. Staff are friendly, the crowd is always good, no riff raff and the music is always spot on. Small intimate club that doesn't get over-packed like many other London clubs. This place caters for everyone aged 21 and over, and has become a firm favourite of mine as well as many of my friends. I would definitely recommend this place if you are after a good night out with no hassles and great music.

Went to Valmont for my 30 something birthday a couple of weeks ago, and have to say all that came had an awesome time. They guys were really helpful with sorting the soiree out. The area booked was perfect, and good for the 25+ people that attended. Drinks and cocktails all went down well. And me being the birthday boy had the perfect evening! Definitely recommend the place to anyone wanting a great night, hassle free.

Went for a friend's birthday. She hired out an area which was good until 1.30am, when we were rudely told we had to move as someone else had now hired out the area. Then, whilst I waited in the entrance area for my friends, I was (yet again) rudely told I had to find my friends or wait outside in the cold.

Yet another pretentious Chelsea club. Overpriced, cramped and rude!

I doubt I will return.

I recently held my charity function at the Valmont and don't believe I could have found a better venue in London. The staff, were charming, friendly and incredibly helpful at every step, the night would not have run as smoothly without them. The Venue itself, is sophisticated, chic and very well kept. I heard only positive things from everybody who attended on the night and would like to Thank the Valmont for creating a memorable event for all those who attended. I can not recommend this club enough, not only as a fabulous venue to hold any event but also for a great night out.
Thank you again to all at the Valmont,
Jess

We went with my friend on Saturday night
We had a great night at Valmont
Service was the best. All helpful and smiling(charming too)
Drinks prices are normal for the area
Music was good and the atmosphere was friendly
Like the decor
The only thing I wasn't very impressed is that the dance floor is too small and the rooms were not air conditioned as much
I can recommend it to anyone.

A very stylish venue with a good crowd and great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the level of service was extremely high.

I would recommend anyone who is planning a visit to hire one of their private booths, which make a great base for the night.

I will definitely be returning soon.

We went to The Valmont Club on Saturday. I had reserved a table in the main bar which meant a minimum spend, but easily done between a few of you! The staff couldn't have been more friendly or attentive. It's a very stylish venue. We arrived at 8 and it had a low-key cocktail bar atmosphere, but later on, the lights dimmed, the music charged up and it went easily into full-on club mode. Lots of fun. A good crowd. Decent loos and drinks were fairly priced (although be aware of the service charge). Would definitely go back here. And the friendly manager tells me they have a new sister venue 'Coquine' in South Ken, so I'm tempted to try there too.

After reading reviews on the Valmount, I was expecting so much more than was delivered. The majority of the staff were incredibly rude and created a very stale atmosphere. Thankfully we had a booth so managed to enjoy our night, but I will not return. The only good thing is the prices are very reasonable.

I'm not one for clubs and I came out of the Valmont asking when we could return. Staring the night down the road at the Coquine for some great steak, great atmosphere and most of all great service. Some of the warmest staff I have experienced. The same goes for the Valmont. No attitude, no fuss, just the lushest club atmosphere; the happiest bartenders; great drinks and something just a bit different.
Not one complaint or fault to find. What more can I say?

i celebrated my birthday there with a bunch of friends!Everything was great: music, service, people in there, even the security( A guy was trying to dance with me, I must have looked like annoyed, a security guy came straight to ask the guy to leave me alone..!)
All the staff, from the entrance to the bar was great.
Prices are fine, a bit like the Vendome club.
Great moment, nice people, perfect night!

I celebrated my 30th birthday at the Valmont Club and it was simply perfect. Leading up to the event, there was regular communication with Carlos and he even offered some exciting ideas including proposing that we use the Electric Salon, a lounge inside the club, which gave us a more intimate start to the evening. This room makes a very easy transition from a relaxed ambience to a funky semi-private dance area with its own bar. I was happy where I was and stayed there all night but several people frequented the main dance floor to share in the atmosphere, so it really was the best of both worlds. The DJ was truly on point, the cocktails were delicious, the canape's we ordered were equally yummy (especially the mini-burgers!) and everyone had an amazing time. This club is very, very good.

Not having been to The Valmont Club Previously, I have to say from initial contact when I booked the guest list, to the evening itself, and even the follow up from the manager to see how our evening was, the Valmont (Carlos particularly) puts the much needed "final touch" on what you would expect from a London Venue.

The venue itself was excellent, as was the music and staff. If you want a cheap night out then this probably isn't the place for you but saying that, in my experiences (them being "you get what you pay for") the prices are fairly justified.

The venue definitely has a VIP feel about it, but it also doesn't feel like it's only for people who have a wallet that Bill Gates would envy. Being from South london originally, and now living out near Gatwick it is great to get back to "The Big Smoke" and find a new venue that really crosses the "T's" and dot's the "I's", rather than the usual bank-busting entry fee's leading to a disappointing dungeon disco.

Top marks, one to be watched.

Symon

The celebration of a birthday always calls for a stressful search for the perfect venue. We recently celebrated my boyfriend's 27th at the Valmont Club and I have to say we were very impressed. After reading a few reviews i contacted Carlos, who i found very helpful and informative. He ensured we could arrange a good night out.
The club itself is perfectly balanced to ensure everyone has a good night... Not overly pretentious but attracting a good calibre of people at the same time.
I would strongly recommend it for someone who wants to put their best on and have a good time but without the extra hassle you may find elsewhere in London. Will definitely be returning soon!

Recently celebrated my 27the Birthday at the Valmont and I have to say it has been the best birthday bash to date! I searched for ages to find the right venue and Carlos was the first one to give me such a quick and helpful reply. Very refreshing to see a 5 star club not give a pompous attitude to letting me and my guests in - the staff was great and we partied the night away to a brilliant music set. Will definitely be using the Valmont for future events - perfect and intimate for a party coupled with a vibrant club atmosphere.

Went there on a Saturday - way too crowded! They also played a lot of lame hip hop music alongside with good house, why not just stick to the house my question is? The crowd was good, about the same amount of girls and guys, but it was so crowded it is very hard to dance. The other room was less crowded but the crowd there was lame. Maybe the place is better to frequent for a drink on the weekday, as it will be less crowded. Definitely way too crowded on the weekend - it's biggest fallback! Will try going there again on a weeknight with some girlfriends again.

Great music and a really good atmosphere! I have been to the Valmont quite a few times and have always had a good night. Much more intimate than most west end clubs and better for it. The quality of service is always impressive and one of the best cocktail lists in London.

An exclusive venue without the pretentious atmosphere. I'd recommend the Valmont to anyone.

Ambience superb, but clear black, if you not flush or up and coming as a black professional I went out and was as to leave the club and no explanation given and was with a female friend whomw as left inside.

Be Mindful, of the heavy handed approach which I will be taking up as a bigger matter, as it is against the law to use race to control those that use your club. That said they have their quota of 'wannabees' and price reasonable - tenner to get in cocktails tenner each champagne 70 and up a bottle.
