I've never written a review for a place before, good or bad, but I felt compelled to write this one because I have never been so appalled by a club in my entire life. I have tried several times to consider that my bad experiences have been a 'one off' at this place, but after a 3rd time trying to give it the benefit of the doubt, I can't anymore.

Don't get me wrong, once you're inside, it's all good, but the door staff are so rude and obnoxious that your night is pretty much already ruined. Maybe it's because it's after midnight and they presume everyone is drunk and needs to be patronised like a child, or maybe it's because it's a prerequisite to have zero tact, but I have never been so disgusted by the way they speak to their customers, and I wasn't even one of the unruly patrons giving them a reason to be rude. I can't imagine how bad it would be if I was.

It doesn't surprise me that nobody I've spoken to has a glowing review of this place, so take my advice if it means anything, and avoid it if you can. It's not worth the long walk along the Broadway to then stand in a queue for ages to have your night ruined even further. The guys at the door are a bunch of loutish barbarians, and I was completely astounded by the social ineptitude displayed by the women inside. Needless to say, even if you get in for free, it's not worth the entrance fee and we only stayed for one drink and promptly left.

My first time in The Watershed was last night and the £1.50 drink promotion was on until 11.30pm but even after then the drinks were reasonably priced. They had a great mix of classic dance and new tunes as well as some breaks which was interesting but worked well. The decor at The Watershed is very 'Changing Rooms' but it's a cosy unpretentious place where you can really let your hair down.

I was shocked to stumble upon one of the finest live music nights in South London, here at the Watershed in Wimbledon on a Thursday - I was informed that indeed this club has the latest license and only license for live music in Wimbledon. More shocking was the drink promotion which was £1.50 for any drink! Obviously this attracted a capacity crowd of students and trendy, good-looking young people to see some fine bands, the DJs played well too. A great Thursday night out to start the weekend.

The Watershed is a cool club. It's small but since its face uplift it looks good. The crowd is all ages, mixed and there are not too many guys as there is a door policy. The music is the best thing i.e. old and new dance tracks (all the favourites which you don't find anywhere else).

Definately worth a trip if your local and are up for a light night out.
