APALLING!!! My company had its Christmas party in there and it was a complete disaster. We had booked (and paid!) for 200 and there was only food for 40. Staff were USELESS, manager braindead. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Came to Tigar Tigar in Croydon for first time last friday & had a great time. Big place with different rooms upstairs. Nice crowd of people & good music. Security at door were smiling & friendly. Will be returning back next week.

This rating is based on a lunch time - I cannot comment on an evening as I haven't been yet. I ordered a burger and asked for it to be med-rare. It eventually came (there is a lack of staff in the place - when you try to catch their eye they blank you) and the burger was cremated. My friend also got the wrong starter. I asked if I could have another burger as my burger, when squeezed, had no juice coming from it and resembled the sole of my shoe. She said she would get me another burger - but.. "that's the way the chef cooks it" I reminded her that I am paying for it and old enough to know how I like my "gourmet" burger. She went into the kitchen - had a word with the chef, came back and said he could not do that. WTH?? Can only presume food is already cooked and just warmed up. Food for my friends was not great either. used to eat here at Saturday lunchtime when shopping in Croydon but food and service had gone down in the last 2 years. Not eating there again.

RIP Tiger Tiger. The door staff are aggressive and chavvy and have to work there because their day job does not pay enough.

Customers are just treated like animals but then again it is Croydon.

People knock the Tiger Tiger chain. But for me I've found both Croydon (my regular) and their Haymarket site to be consistently worth my time. Nice decor, friendly experienced staff (both in and out) very little anti social behaviour. Not overpriced for drinks and a predominately friendly customer base. 3 separate rooms (Club, RnB and Cheese) mean there'll hopefully be something you'll enjoy. Only downside is they don't tend to attract "superstar" DJs. But I've never been one for celebrity. Give me a decent DJ Ive never heard of over some prima donna every day.

Maybe they aren't ground breaking, but if it works why change it. Recommended.

I've eaten here twice, once for staff party and other for my birthday. Both times was dissapointed in the food really, it's not great either for value or for quality. Service leaves a bit to be desired but guess thats because its got to draw its staff from the area (Chav capital Croydon). The drinks are not great either cocktails fairly expensive for the venue, draught beer not great quality I'd stick to bottled wine or beer. Having said all that the atmosphere and music is quite good (for croydon) and both nights ended quite well.

if you like sleazy men grabbing you constantly then this place is for you - but then again, its a good club for Croydon.

i cant believe the most rubbish service and food was in tiger tiger, croydon, although i go there quite regularly, they have alot young stuck women working there that dont know what they are serving or doing. and the chef? bloody hell... he was not willing to serve food... only side dishes such as salads... it was so ridiculous!
i would only advise people to go there if they are willing to be treated in such ways

Tiger Tiger does good, but basic pub grub. It's not great, but it'll do when you're out drinking in the sun and you want something to soak up the alcohol. I like Tiger Tiger for clubbing and dancing and looking at the laydeez. It's not really a place where you can pretend it's a pub and take kids.

On the whole I like Tiger Tiger. The premise of being able to spend one night in one place really appeals to me cos you don't have to get in and out of your coat several times. But this Tiger Tiger was different from the other on in London. It felt more like separate places, with different areas to eat and drink. Not sure if I liked it any better.

We had a wicked time at Tiger Tiger in Croyden. I've only ever been to the other Tiger Tiger, but this one was cool. The food is dead good and really cheap.
