Very very bad place.
You will get ripped off - if not at the bar (0% alcohol in some of their shots) then by the other patrons (expat Easternbloc & Aussie girls looking to make easy money out of you). They have all the tricks in the book - we even had our jackets/ sweaters stolen by them. Watch out for the 'buy me dinner' trick, too. Very tacky individuals.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME - stay away from here.
This venue is tacky... There are girls walking around in tacky pink and black corsets with test tube shots that have 0 alcohol in them. they force you in to buying them because they ask and ask and ask intill you want them to go away and you buy...... i don understand why a venue would dress girls up like this its awful.... the bar area stank of sick and the servie was slow
omg they have these girls selling shots in this place they forsed one down my bfs mouth and then demanded money off him, when i asked her what her problem way she told me to shut up or she will kick me out? and then said she was a manager not sure if she was the clubs manager or manager of what she was doing but i was really upset there outfits looked tacky some form of bondage corsets. It ruined my night i will never come to this place again
Recently went to Piccadilly Circus branch of the Tiger-Tiger club. Would like to say that we had nice time. We booked a table for 10 people which included snacks and 3 jars of cocktails. The food was quite taste, but not enough. (Even though was told that the package is suitable for 10 people) As for the drinks we went early so managed to get one round of drinks on Happy Hour, which turned out very cheap, however it ends at 8pm. :( The cocktails that were included in our £50 package deal seemed to have a very few alcohol in it, which obviously would make people to go and order more at the bar. One more thing that felt uncomfortable was that the club was very crowded. Even though there was a security at the door and was holding the queue, it was still packed.
The staff was very friendly. Even though it was 10 of us and we couldn’t fit at one table they offered us some chairs, which was very kind of them.
Overall had a really nice time. Would defiantly go again but next time probably will try their food and dine in their restaurant
.
A fairly decent club, 6/7 out of 10
getting in is a maze, they send you through some dodgy back alleys...although the bouncers were nice and they took the time to study your ID.
entrance fee was cheap when i went, only £5. drinks were fairly cheap as well compared to the "prestige" clubs in mayfair. It takes a while to get the drinks though, the staff are slow at serving.
club was nicely packed, with different groups of people enjoying different sounds in different sections of the club. we stayed in the white room which is really fancy and had great music.
The girls that go to tiger tiger are quite stuck up. They act as if they were sent from god and must be treated preciously, I wouldnt go there if you are looking to dance with the opposite sex.
as a club overall, it is a good venue. the rules however, are ambiguous and lack meaning; they allow some type of trainers but not others, they allow some people to wear hats and not others, my friends and I were completely overdressed, but we didnt want to run the risk of wearing certian clothes and not being let in. another small thing is that the entrance that night was only £5, and for £5 entrance you get £5 class of people. And there is a noticable difference between £5 people and £20 people.
overall, worth poppin your head in for :)
We made the horrible mistake of organising a Saturday reunion with old friends in the "well known" Tiger Tiger.
Firstly, the website is misleading is in the first place as it advertises happy hour as valid until 9pm every day. I therefore ordered 4 drinks at 8.30 waiting for a 13ish pound bill. The barman presented a 27 £ bill. I protested saying that according to the website the happy hour should last till 9pm. Had no time to reply, the barman had already called one of the extremely rude security guards who was literally picking me up and throwing me outside, obviously after demanding the payment accompanied by menaces of different nature.
In general, the staff members' behaviour was outrageous. Treated like s**t from the beginning to the end of the night for whichever reason (we MUST move the table, jackets MUST NOT be left here or here or here, meaning that we were forced to pay the 2£ for the cloakroom. We were told these things in such an intimidating manner as if they were about to beat us up). I was really in shock and a bit ashamed of taking some dear old friends in such a dirty place. From being proud of staying in London, I gradually became ashamed of introducing outside-London friends to this place .
I am afraid these people can afford to behave this way as this place is, as far as I know, "well known" outside London and people come especially to spend a great night in Tiger Tiger, a place full of perverts from whom I had to keep constantly my girlfriend away who couldn't enjoy a night out without receiving sleazy looks. I know this happens everywhere but the quality of the male customer base goes really beyond any standards seen so far here.
I have lived in London for a year now and I love this multicultural city and its architectural magnificence but these places ruin much of its reputation. Judging from these reviews, I am not the only one who had a dire experience. I hope for the sake of London that this place will any time soon shut down!!
I had dinner at Tiger Tiger with a group of 6 of my friends and was quite shocked to read some of the reviews.
We had a great time, we were welcomed by the waiter who took us to our table and ensured we wanted for nothing the whole time we were seated.
The atmosphere and food were brilliant, we all had 3 courses and each one was delicious. Our table was booked for 6pm which happened to be in happy hour so all our drinks were 50% off! Bonus!!
We then had free access to the club, stayed there all nite and had such a laugh in all of the different rooms.
I definitely recommend dining at Tiger Tiger and if you wish to continue your night your in the right place!
I went on a Saturday with my mates. The drinks were overpriced, the bouncers were uptight, the music was 10 years old, the dance space was too small. Also, my mate and I got our cheap jackets nicked! lol! All in all it was pretty dire.
