Good, easy place to hang out. Fairly small and certainly nothing special but fun none the less. No problem with staff very friendly in fact - no discernible door policy. Plenty of willing foreign birds therefore achieves a medium clunge factor. Enjoy.
Had a fantastic night at Zebranos in Greek Street yesterday. We booked a table in advance for our group (although the venue was empty when we arrived at 6pm ish). We had table service and staff were friendly and helpful, if a little hard to find later on in the evening when it got quite busy. The drinks were great and with happy hour were very affordable. The food was amazing! We did not expect much, being just nibbles but were pleasantly surprised by the quality and effort that had gone in to making the shared platters varied and very tasty. The music was very eclectic ranging from fifties swing, to techno/dance to Apache Indian! I would certainly recommend it for an evening out with friends. We had a fabulous time and will be going back again.
went on a Friday night and had a great time, loved the cocktails and the music
I really like the Zebrano bars. I went to this bar with a friend on a Saturday night in August, and save for a couple of slimy guys who we soon got rid of I found the staff and people lovely. A really nice crowd who are just there to have fun, unlike some other central clubs and bars which are full of people craving a mirror every five seconds. Drinks were typically priced for Soho, music was good and up to date - the only thing that needs to be better is the air con, as downstairs is a little sauna-like when it's busy. All in all a great night out and one of my favourite bars for an easy night out.
I don't know what Sammy must have done to wind the bouncers up the wrong way, but I've always found the staff at Zebranos to be really welcoming. I don't think I've seen anyone turned away (unless of course they were under-aged or the place was full to capacity).
It's a great little spot just around the corner from my office in Soho and it never fails to deliver for a fun night out.
Great view from outside, design ok, music same as every place in soho. But the success (or whatever) has made the staff very arrogant! Last time I went, the service (bouncers, barmaids and manager) was very rude. They did not allow my friends to get in, pretending they were drunk and it was completely wrong. I cant believe they lie! Another thing, this place attracts a lot of chav and perverts!
I strolled down Greek Street a few weeks ago and stumbled upon Zebrano...it was an 80s party and the best atmosphere i have felt in a club in a long time. Glow sticks were being handed out at the door so everyone was in the 80s spirit straight away. I had only planned to go out for a few drinks with mates but ended up in Zebrano until closing at 3am i think it was! Great night purely for the great crowd and atmosphere.
the staff let this place down - rude, aggressive and arrogant - I would never usually bother to post a review online but after last nights experience I had to do my bit ... herded around the bar by bouncers with attitude who wouldn't let us stand in various sections - threatened with expulsion for wearing a hat (serious)!! ignored by bar staff ... cloakroom totally full, much like the 15 square foot of space actually actually available to stand ...
if you want a gestapo style drinking experience then get down to this bar ... if you want to be treated like an a paying adult and a valued patron, stay well away ... ruined by the attitudes and behaviour of the staff who rely on the bars location to provide them with clientele ...
if you want a central london cocktail bar you can do significantly better than this place, take my advice and STAY AWAY!
