Launched by David Hasslehoff on ITV’s Red or Black show in 2011, the bungee catapult is a new take on bungee jumping. Unlike the classic bungee jump, participants start from the ground and are propelled 160 foot in reverse in a human catapult experience.

Just like regular bungee experiences, the bungee catapult begins with a full safety briefing and weighing so you can be fitted into your full body harness. After numerous stringent safety checks, you are led to the launch pad ready for lift off. The bungee catapult cord is attached and the slack taken up by the crane to 160 foot high. Suspended just a few feet off the ground, you wait for the infamous 3, 2, 1 countdown before the rip chord is pulled, catapulting you into the air.
