We can't expect to learn everything there is to do with kitesurfing in a single day - far from it - however if you would like an introduction to kitesurfing, this is the best way to do it. Taster days also make great gifts so if you are stuck looking for a present kitesurfing is probably one of the best!

This kitesurfing taster day is all about having fun in the water! Your equipment is even set up for you in advance so you can maximise the time spent playing with the kite in the water.

The day starts with a brief introduction to safety to ensure you know how to release the kite and know the hand signals used to give you instructions and after that, it is straight into the water to start some basic flying!

After you get the hang of piloting the kite, your instructor will get you body surfing, using the kite to provide power, and then for the last hour or so of the day you get out the boards and learn how to stand up on them, helping you get into position so you can take a short run across the bay!
