As a professional writer for more than 20 years, Brian West has earned a living from a diverse array of writing assignments. He has scripted network TV comedy (Pets, Channel 4), created award-winning programme trailers and commercials (BBC Broadcast & Wizja TV) and in his early career even scripted licensed comic strips for IPC (Scooby Doo and WoodyWoodpecker)
. Brian began his career as a journalist for Thames Television, has written and appeared in his own show on the Edinburgh Fringe, with comedy partner Andrew Barclay, and has sold over 100,000 books with London publisher Chalk & Cheese. He is currently freelancing as a copywriter for BBC Creative Services.
