Alexandra Palace will be transformed into an urban paradise, with halfpipes, skate parks, freerunning arenas and graffiti walls all set up for visitors to take a look at and experience first hand.
Impressive Freestyle Festival music
Taking to the Freestyle Festival music stage is an impressive array of musicians, DJs, bands and artists, serving up a selection that promises to keep even the pickiest of music fan happy. Confirmed artists include Starseed, Nixa, FranKo, Stealing Green, Imma and Where’s Billy, in what’s a veritable feast of local and emerging London talent. Freerunning, BMXing and skating
The Freestyle Festival will see the biggest name in freeruning heading for Alexandra Palace. Sebastien Foucan, the founder of parkour, will be hosting the freerunning arena and will be holding seminars and demonstrations to share his philosophy and expertise with those keen to progress, or try, parkour. The Freestyle Festival skaters and BMXers are no less impressive, with Sam Beckett, Sam Bosworth, Ben Grove, Sebastian Keep and Chaz Sands being just some of the names on hand to entertain the crowds.
Secret Wars and B-boys
The hugely popular Secret Wars will be making an eagerly anticipated appearance at the Freestyle Festival, with some of the best graffiti artists (including Disco, Jimi Crayon, Mr K and Alfa) working their magic on the Alexandra Palace walls. They’ll be vying for attention with the B-boys, as crews of four will battle it out for the main prize over two days of intense dance action. So if any of this sounds up your alley, pick up tickets and make a beeline for Ally Pally.
