Friday 12th July - Sunday 14th July 2013
Highams Hill Farm, Sheepbarn Lane, Warlingham, Surrey
Tickets are now available for this summer's LeeFest. The festival takes place between Friday 12th and Sunday 14th July 2013 in south east London, not too far from Bromley. This unique knees-up, which was founded six years ago in the creator's back garden, has since evolved into one of the best small festivals in the country. Set in picturesque fields just outside of London, founder Lee Denny has put on seven previous festivals, with this year's looking every bit as magical.
Fans who purchase LeeFest tickets can expect to see some of the most exciting artists in the music industry. The early line-up announcement includes big names such as Delphic, who will be playing following the release of their second album entitled Collections. King Charles will also be performing; the indie singer having released his debut album Love Blood last year. Other musical delights come in the form of Man Like Me, Stanton Warriors, No Artificial Colours and The Other Tribe, along with many more to be announced soon.
Since the festival begun in 2006 it has grown and picked up momentum, as has the stature of artists performing. Although this year's line up is far from being complete, rest assured that with acts like The Futureheads, Jakwob, Fenech Soler, Mystery Jets and Bastille all previously appearing, 2013 will be jam packed with musical talent.
LeeFest tickets will enable festival goers to be a part of one of the UK’s most refreshing stories of festival success. Started in Lee Denny’s back garden in 2006, the festival attracted just 150 people - quite a contrast to last year's attendance of over 2,000. The festival is a non profit organisation; all proceeds are donated to the Kids' Company Charity, which works with disadvantaged children in London. And the festival is run on good values too: LeeFest promise to leave the festival site as clean as they found it, and they have no commercial sponsors.
As well as being able to enjoy a beer whilst sampling LeeFest’s marvellous musical offerings, the ‘Beyond’ lineup is worth looking out for too, with some of the best names in comedy, dance, art, poetry, cabaret and film making their way to south east London for what promises to once again be one of the best festivals of the year.
