Wow. Lots of negative user reviews .. I loved 2012 in a roller coaster of special effects kinda way. Yes, theres the usual crap sentimentality and group cheering/hugging at the end - but forget that and just go along for the ride!

o my word this was like watching a PlayStation game on a massive screen. the whole movie was not believable in any way and the graphics weren't very good. Infact we were laughing through most of the movie when i don't think we were supposed to lol. do not waste your money on this movie folks. and if u are then go see it in a cheap theatre haha.

I cannot see past the Hollywood histrionics and cheesy dialogues to enjoy the special effects. Some people said I can't expect much from a big budget production and coming from the makers of Independence Day. That was 1996, things should have changed. For two and a half hours long and the effects that come in bits and pieces, sitting through the rest is is like a visit to my dentist. Unbelievable dialogues, all sorts of cliches, coincidences one after another and truly cringe-worthy scenes i.e. every time the little girl screams or "He's going to die!" (we all know the hero will survive, but yet they still try this line in 2009), more than lucky escapes (see when Jackson meet the welder's brother. What are the odds?) Will never watch a film of this calibre again.

Everyone needs to realize that this not about the end of the world but the end of the world as we know it.

The apparent happenings of 2012 have been known of for many years I myself have studied the phenomenon.

I will be going to see the film in a few days and am looking forward to how this will actually been portrayed. I do hope it doesnt instill fear and panic in viewers. Looking forward to leaving my post film review.

I of course have my own views. Yes I do believe that many people will perish, look back to the time of Noah, something similar happened then.

The world cannot go on as it is at the moment-things have to change. I have been preparing for this time and if I am meant to survive so beit. Namaste.
