This is a long film and I found it took a bit of getting into. The subject makes for edgy and uncomfortable viewing, but it's utterly compelling. The authenticity is remarkable, as is the tautness and skill of the way it leads us through interlocking circumstances and individuals caught up in a web of human fallibility. And the naturalistic acting is superb throughout. A really impressive work - I would even call it a masterpiece.
