This is a great film. It is a rare treat as it is both artistically innovative and highly entertaining. So many of the 'professional' reviews for this film merely describe why it is interesting but do not mention that it is a very funny film. Although the visual images were coopted from a documentary photography project, the script is entirely fictional and mainly focuses on the perspective of the main character, a 15 year old boy 'played' by the director's brother. This gives us a very interesting insight into the thought processes of 15 year old boys, what interests them and how they view the world. The other main character is a young American student traveling in Mexico who befriends this teenage boy. If you want to laugh but also like well made films then this is a good film to watch.

Very cool film and I forgot halfway through that it wasn't actuallyl a film at all! Nice job for a first time director, very creative.
