I have to disagree with cyber. This is a hard-hitting film that grabs you by the scruff of your neck and drags you along for over two hours (it seems like longer). The world depicted is thoroughly depressing and you'd like to look away, but you can't. So, it's grim, very grim, but it's good.

Sadly Alejandro Gonzalez-Innaritu's latest film is a depressing limp experience. It's very sad and although Javier Bardem gives an impressive performance, the enter feature is more weepy than moving. I couldn't help falling asleep during this movie. It should be enough to bring a tear to the eye, but this is disappointingly overshadowed by a long dull experience which literally consists of a man walking through the streets of Barcelona in the last week of his life due to being Terminally ill with Cancer. The film explores a man's loneliness, a issue very familiar with Innaritu having already explored this topic in his slightly more colourful, but still extraordinarily bland previous feature Babel. It just doesn't fall through and the end product is just a film about a guy walking down a road.
