How could they have got it so wrong? - it could have been so good. I was acutally looking forward to seeing this film but unfortunately it was a huge let down. The acting was horrendous, wooden and ham. As for the storyline, I am amazed at the amount of omissions from the actual myth they made. This is one I definitely wont be buying on dvd.

Shockingly bad remake of the original and a film which owes more to Star Wars than Greek mythology. What were they thinking? perhaps: "this is great story but we definitely need more monsters" Where did that dodgy desert character come from? The reason Perseus survived the attempted drowning was because he was so wooden. I've rarely seen such bad acting and a hair style that came straight from prison escape movies. On the good side-the battle with Medusa was pretty good and 3D effects were Ok, this being my frst 3D film
