I feel that this film is one of the rare gems released from our Cinema world today. The title detracts in no way from this exemplary film which is touching and poignant, piercing and intense, and draws you into this powerful and loving relationship. It focuses on the depth of true love, respect, the earnestness of a promise and the feelings that withstand the test of time. A must see for anyone who has ever felt the power of true requited love.

I definitely disagree with Matthew Turner on the fact that this film will only be known as the one where Mischa Barton takes her top off! It was really great and Shirley Maclaine was especially good.
