A whizzy overblown Sci-Fi thriller that marks the third disappointing movie from Tony Scott in a row following Spy Game and Man on Fire. Denzel Washington's presence on top form makes it worth it, but the film is so dull and endlessly boring. The scenery looks just dreadful with the dark setting of New Orleans. There is so little action and I felt the ending was very much rushed. After a few minutes, the car bomb went off. Pretty silly. In fact, almost laughable with the film's ridiculousness. I could only describe Deja Vu as a shamble of complete nonsense and an abysmal mess-up. I like the concept of changing the past, but the long road ruins the entire experience besides a terrible script and a lazy setting.
