I laughed soooo much! What a great film. Such an interesting subject and set up for a teen flick. The parents were so cool. Absolutely loved it! Though my little sister who is a teenager didn't.... so maybe not so much a teen flick?

Cracking teen movie featuring a stellar central performance from Emma Stone. Avoiding both the vacuity prominent in this genre and also the teen-angst trap, this is a hilarious yet thoughtful take on the minefield of high school relationships and the lengths young people will go to be popular. Great use of music, some impressive cinematic flourishes and an authentic touch put this almost in the same class as 'Clueless' and 'Mean Girls'.
