Green Lantern should be a satisfy superhero flick this summer for most viewers and a passable summer blockbuster with mind-blowing special-effects, a sweeping score, great action, an impressively intense lead performance from Ryan Reynolds and one vivid imagination. It's a shame it soon turns into a underwritten confused superhero romp with an undeveloped plot and characters, a clunky script, an uneven pace and a generally muddled effect.
