Why, oh why, did Matthew Turner think that Travolta's weird performance in Hairspray was worth five stars? Only he can know. Bizarre to look at and even more bizarre to listen to with his manly voice. Yes, the music is fine, but five stars should be limited to virtually flawless films of which Hairspray is not one.
