Hmmm... I can't say this film wowed me as much as it has some people. Yes, it is beautiful; yes, there were any number of beautiful faces to gaze at; and yes, the sound quality is amazing; but I left feeling a bit unsatisfied, maybe from the lack of narrative. This could have been a jewel of a short film but for me it didn't work as a full-length feature.

One tip if you're planning to see it: have a good look at Manet's painting of a barmaid (put "Manet" and "folies-bergere" into an internet search for images) and fix it in your mind before you go!
