Wickedly funny! I loved it. The dialogue - not just the expletive-laden tirades but the more low-key exchanges as well - was always brilliant. I thought it worked surprisingly well as a full-length film - definitely no longueurs, and enough new twists in the plot to keep it fresh through to the end.

I never thought I would find myself agreeing with Alastair Campbell, but this film is boring. It doesn't have the bite and urgency which episodes of "In the Thick Of It" did. Very well-acted by Capaldi, Addison, Hollander and others, but,apart from the endless tirades with their puerile sexual connotations, the plot meanders and interest is lost. As usual, Steve Coogan succeeds again in ruining every film he plays in.
Wait for it to come out on TV.
