Kingdom of Heaven is medieval epic in it's own right. I thoroughly enjoyed this film. The battle scenes are stunning and some great performances from Orlando Bloom, Eva Green and Liam Neeson makes this a staggeringly vivid depiction of the Crusades. It's a film that isn't quite the masterpiece that Gladiator was, but is somewhere close. The length of the film is a little much, but it's generally extremely effective and we get an excellent historical drama. Fabulous entertainment.
