It’s that time in your life when you discover the opposite sex, the only people that make sense are your friends and you’re adamant you’ll never act like your parents.
A strong cast make this ‘been done before’ film a worth-while-watch as Adrien Brody (last seen in Spike Lee’s acclaimed Summer of Sam) et al act their socks off.
The film follows two young brothers who fall for the wrong girls and contend with their father as his dodgy business dealings start to land him in increasingly deeper mess.
The reaction to Ben’s (played by Ben Foster) blossoming relationship with the school’s first black student (Rebekah Johnson) offers a deeper insight into the conscious of 1950’s America through their youthful innocence.
