this film stars Nicholas Cage as a foreigner living in the United States with his family that own a resturant, he has had enough of scraping through life and decides that going in to the illegal arms trade is the right way to go.

The Positeves:
1. for me, this is one of Nicholas Cage's greatest performances
2. the storyline and the way the film progresses makes this film one to watch
3. using real life situations and locations i.e. corupt governments, the scene in Africa, the mafia hit at the beginning etc

The Negatives
1. i struggle to think of anything negative to say as its a top class film and one for the ages, but if i had to choose something it would be the length of the film; although everything is neccessary, the director could of taken at least 15-20 minutes off.

The Conclusion
Nicholas Cage is my favourite actor and probably the best actor in this day in age, if this is one of his best films then surely its deserved to be watched. i cant remeber a film like this and its top of the list for a DVD collection.
