"The Punisher," with Ray Stevenson stepping into the title role.

The main problem many people had with this movie was the plot; it is very thin needed more substance as many complained that it just never hit the mark although the fact this movie had the Punisher/Frank Castle go up against a villain from the Marvel Universe hallelujah.

When compared to the Jonathan Hensleigh of 2004 the man who wrote Simon Said/Die Hard With A Vengeance, his version is more of thriller with a throw back to Sam Peckinpah, of the 1970's great cast the late Roy Schneider as Frank Castles dad John Travolta as well heeled nemesis not bad how ever enough of that.

This movie did not do well at the box office, as it was not; released at a good part of the year i.e. Christmas this movie has some serious action right from the credits. This movie deserves to be watched, if you’re a fan of the Soprano’s this a movie for you Ray Stevenson of Rome is the Punisher we have been waiting for, Dominic West of the 300/The-Wire is perfectly cast as Jigsaw although under used like Wayne Knight of Basic Instinct, Toy Story-2, as Micro-chip.

Unlike (The Dark Knight TDK) this movie-lacked development of characters, the gritty look, and cinema photography were excellent top notch. Lexi Alexander needed more depth i.e. even a descent origin story to reveal who, what, when, why and how. You don’t have to be fan of the character yet this is a descent movie, out of 5 star no more than 3, fight scenes could have been utilised allot more i.e. Like the Dolph Lundgren fight scenes without a gun in his hand.

Website design 5 out of 5 stars for design and ease of use, very good sound track Rob Zombie say no more. This movie needs a descent sequel believe it or not the writers of this movie were from IRONMAN the Shield and Lost. Lionsgate never marketed this movie hence box-office was very poor.
