Excellent action movie and much better than Bourne. However this is NOT a Bond movie. Daniel Craig doesn't have an ounce of sex in his none-the-less attractive body. He hasn't an iota of personality either. He does have the action ability however. Also the girls are not as sexy as the usual bond girls. The baddies however are the real thing, thank goodness, and are the saving grace of this film.

Perfect Bond film. No gadgets, no silly "Miss Moneypenny" innuendoes, just good solid action. The film was excellent, Daniel Craig was better than excellent.

I'm not a huge fan of Bond, but have always found them a guilty pleasure. Casino Royale was a good action thriller and the stripped down effects made it a step up from the Brosnan era imo. However, Q of S completely lacked narrative interest or cohesion. Some of the on location shots were, of course, visually thrilling and Craig made a fist of a terrible script. Overall very disappointing though.

Mindlessly violent and unlike any other Bond film. The scenes are shot so close up it is impossible to understand what is happening. Very little dialogue, very poor story line. No character development. No glamour. Further ruined by some potentially stunning scenes set in Siena, Haiti, S. America etc moving straight into another scene of gruesome violence, blood and gore. Serves very well to promote gun crime.

I was really excited to watch Bond - I'm not a fan of the series but loved Casino Royale and really rate Daniel Craig as an actor. However, Quantum of Solace left me disappointed...

The action verges on ridiculous, some of the scenes are so fast paced you can't even tell what's going on. I fell asleep halfway through for about 15 mins as I got bored, and woke up just in time to see the world's most ridiculous action scene (on planes, I won't spoil it)...

The ending was unsatisfying and the dialogue cheesy in places (which is why I hate Bond films but rated Casino Royale)... Also, the characters were poorly constructed and you didn't care about the Bond girls at all...

In all, watchable but a disappointment. Maybe it was too hyped up but I expected a lot more; an opinion reflected by the disgruntled mutterings of my fellow cinema-goers.

Casino Royal was one of, if not the best Bond film.

This follows a few hours on from the previous one. I'm so glad at last that there is some form of synergie from the previous film.

It really works and drives the performances for the rest of the film. Bond is full of rage, but wont admit to it. This is the most pared down, raw, emotional bond film todate, and with the most action sequences. It's certainly stressful at times to watch the acting if first rate all round. Because of bonds state of mind, the witty lines come mostly in the form biting wit from an excellent Judy Dench. Again this really works.

This film is beautifully shot, brilliantly acted, although at times the action sequences are so jumpy they are difficult to watch, especially the opening sequence.

I'm not sure how anyone couldn't follow the plot! I love the fact that the film doesn't patronise, showing Bolivia in bad a flattering and less than flattering light. The plot being centred around a real world plot where a large criminal organisation trying to control the water supply in Latin America (similar to the actual plot that led to Morales becoming president of Bolivia). It's also critical to the USA's meddling in Latin America, although as Felix Leiter points out to Bond "who are you to criticise being British".

This is a modern, exciting, topical, razer sharp Bond Film. I can't wait for the next one. Brilliant, but not perfect.

Great action sequences, hampered by a grotty, poorly held together story line. a shocking and unsatisfying ending, which leaves you thinking that they had missed out a last concluding scene to bring the whole film together.

This latest 'Bond' is undeniably pacey. Craig has certainly made it his own and it is a tribute to the organisation behind the Bond movies that Bond remains an enduring crowd puller. Craig has the body, the eyes and the stamina to be a Bond - but he does not have the suave sexual appeal of the classic Bond, turning the new 'Bond' films into yet another run of the mill spy story. Maybe the next 'Real Bond' will turn up in the near future - until then this series of films will make Craig a rich man, but his undeniable acting talents are wasted. I also wait for the perfect film for Atterton - she shows real promise despite having little to do in this film.
