Well worth seeing. The film shows two stories in parallel ... the events during the war from the perspective of young Sarah, and that of a journalist investigating her story. The film successfully engages with both stories, but looses the tension towards the end.

Instead of maintaining our empathy with Sarah the film instead transfers its attention to a newly introduced character which to my mind reduced the emotional impact of the film.

That said ... a good film.
