StarStarStarNo StarNo Star
Review byMatthew Turner18/10/2000

Crazy American feel good movie following the trials and tribulations of Stuart Little the talking mouse (voiced by Michael J Fox) as he endeavours to fit in with his newly adopted family.

Geena Davis and Hugh Laurie play the sickeningly sweet and understanding Little parents while kid-star of the moment Jonathan Lipnicki (precocious child from Dawson’s Creek and Jerry Maguire) cutes up the screen as their son George.

Kids no doubt will love it, as Stuart is endearingly sweet and fluffy in that computer generated mouse kind of way, and there are some good action bits with the family cat Snowbell desperate to rid the house of the pesky rodent. But all in all it falls a bit flat.

Clever, cute but insipid.
