The film was OK, but the production style was very poor. Shot in wobblevision, it's the sort of nonstop jerky erratic camera work that makes you want to club together to buy the director a tripod!

As I left the cinema I heard a few people around me complaining about the nonstop hand-held camerawork. I couldn't watch much of it, I had to avert my gaze.

I don't normally like the whole NYPD Blue, shaky camera work approach but I think it is used to great effect in The Bourne Ultimatum.

It really immerses the audience into the frantic action, portraying the confusion and panic which the characters must be feeling (not too dissimilar to the directorial approach in 28 Weeks Later).

A great film and a fitting end (if indeed it is the end) to an enthralling series.

It is rare for a film trilogy to be as consistently watchable and enjoyable as the Bourne films have been. This film is a really satisfying conclusion to Bourne’s search for his identity.

Matt Damon succeeds in keeping the character very real – he is so easy to relate to because he seems so normal; with all the contradictions of real life. Julia Stiles is really given a chance to show what she can do and she achieves much with stillness. Joan Allen is always a class act and once again sides with Bourne.

Part of me really hopes they will continue the franchise, but if they don’t, I feel satisfied with where the story leaves us. A must see for anyone who enjoyed the Bourne Identity and the Bourne Supremacy.
