this is an exceptional film for Britain to proudly display, it is probably the best British crime film in a long long time (excluding Rise Of The Footsoldier), i think it brings out Nick Love's best qualities as a director. the best thing for me as a film student is the way Nick has increased the saturation for the time when Danny Dyer and Tamer Hassan are in control and enjoying life, Nick then desaturates when life is gritty. personally this is a must see British film for anyone who enjoys excitement and 1980's social life. i would also like to add that the attention to detail that Nick has put in is phenomenal as everything that you see in the shot, has a real resemblance to what life was like for some people in the 1980's; clothes, cars, shopping bags etc.
