This enjoyably hopeless supernatural thriller makes another flop on the C.V of M.Night Shyamalan, the Indian director who once made clever chilling horror films like The Sixth Sense. Mark Wahlberg and Zooey Deschannel star as a couple seeking refuge in the country from a disease that makes people commit suicide in a horror film that lacks thrills, suspense, scares and literally everything that makes a good thriller. The reason for the film's awfulness may be to do with the dazed expressions of the characters which is more laughable than scary, but it's probably just the dreadful acting.

Reasonably entertaining despite the lowest of expectations. Agree the dialogue and acting is poor though, Ms Deschanel looks constipated throughout. There is an unexpected Night 'cameo' by the way, check the credits. Seeems he has got a sense of humour after all.
